Inside Edition: Prosperity Preacher Opulence!

Can you believe this? I had seen this before when it originally aired, but forgot to post it then. It aired again Saturday and I couldn't resist.

K. Copeland: "My lifestyle follows the scripture..."
K. Copeland: "We give, we believe...we're open?"

IE: You have a fleet of private jets. Why is that necessary, you're a minister. How many private jets do you have?"

K. Copeland: "That...is none of your business."

Well, in response they say what should preachers preach..."Poverty"

I simply say how about preaching THE GOSPEL,  and how about exemplifying that with a holy life and a lifestyle given to serving the people instead of being served and having attitudes like Rock Stars.

Strategy: How about either getting paid a percentage of annual church revenues, or an average percentage of income of congregants? You'll still receive expense allowances too, but that may keep you from looking silly and saying ..."We're Open?" like you're a McDonalds or a Walmart. Please!

Blessed!

  2. So they just had some financial "wrecks" with money fleeced from the sheep. At the end of the day, they are all still "anointed" to preach the gospel and are heading to heaven...just continue to support them financially cause after all, they supported us through our "wrecks!"

Where is my brown "barf bag!"

I saw this story on K.Copeland and the wolves yesterday and forwarded to as many peeps as I could. I'm so glad for the promise that God made in Ezekiel 34 that He would send a True Shepherd to watch and care for His flock. I'm keep my eye on Jesus, for He is truly the Great Shepherd of the souls of those that no longer want to be preyed upon by these FALSE SHEPHERDS!

I love the Message Bible's version of this scripture: Ezekiel 34:1-10

1-6 God's Message came to me: "Son of man, prophesy against the shepherd-leaders of Israel. Yes, prophesy! Tell those shepherds, 'God, the Master, says: Doom to you shepherds of Israel, feeding your own mouths! Aren't shepherds supposed to feed sheep? You drink the milk, you make clothes from the wool, you roast the lambs, but you don't feed the sheep. You don't build up the weak ones, don't heal the sick, don't doctor the injured, don't go after the strays, don't look for the lost. You bully and badger them. And now they're scattered every which way because there was no shepherd—scattered and easy pickings for wolves and coyotes. Scattered—my sheep!—exposed and vulnerable across mountains and hills. My sheep scattered all over the world, and no one out looking for them!
7-9 "'Therefore, shepherds, listen to the Message of God: As sure as I am the living God—Decree of God, the Master—because my sheep have been turned into mere prey, into easy meals for wolves because you shepherds ignored them and only fed yourselves, listen to what God has to say:

10 "'Watch out! I'm coming down on the shepherds and taking my sheep back. They're fired as shepherds of my sheep. No more shepherds who just feed themselves! I'll rescue my sheep from their greed. They're not going to feed off my sheep any longer!

    Blessing Pastor Burnett!

  3. Sister Pat,

"Barf-Bag"...LOL!!! 4 Real. This is enough to make one sick isn't it?

Copeland sounds so confident on the stage. He was interviewed and looked like he didn't know a thing. This is Hollywood at it's finest.

Long too...he said "I couldn't pay for that" what was that about? He couldn't have paid for what? He just paid 15 to 25 Million to settle a case. What could he not have paid for as it pertains to a young lady giving him a bundle of cash?

Notice she gave the bundle, made her offering and went back to her seat. This was given to her by somone else or probably by a ministry auxillary after it was counted. There was a note on it as if it was a tally from some program or other collection.

Sorry, either way, it was totally inappropriate.
