Islam, Submission With No Peace Pt. 7

Pastor Youcef & Wife Tina
What Will You Give For The Sake Of The Gospel?

Heb. 12:4 ~ "Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin."
When asked to repent of his "apostasy" of becoming a Christian, this was the Pastor's response:
"Repent means to return. What should I return to? To the blasphemy that I had before my faith in Christ?" ~ Pastor Youcef
This was followed by him saying that he could NOT return to the religion of his "ancestors" (Islam). Here's a little more of the story.

Sharia Law In Action & United States Silence In The Face Of Oppression!

Now, the Iranian Supreme (Mullah Clerics) Court which is a court of ISLAMIC Law, not a court of democratic process law, has said that Youcef has been convicted for Christianity and his religious beliefs.
"During court trials, he denied the prophecy of Mohammad and the authority of Islam. He has stated that he is a Christian and no longer Muslim. During many sessions in court with the presence of his attorney and a judge, he has been sentenced to execution by hanging according to article 8 of Tahrir–olvasileh."
However, more recently, since the international attention has increased on the violation of human rights (which is legitimate in this case) and imprisonment, the Iranian leaders have switched the claims and trumped up a LIE charging rape and extortion.
“This individual is guilty and his crime is not attempting to convert others to Christianity, rather his crimes are of a security nature,” ~Ali Rezvani, Deputy Governor of Gilan Province.
The "death penalty" according to leading Iranian spokespersons, has been suspended however. Under Islamic
Law, that would be an impossibility IF the charges are true. To further show how great of a FARCE this is,

his wife has also been in jail for rejecting Islam during the same duration of time. In all they have managed to break up a happy family, try to destroy a 400 member church and put down the gospel, only now there is more attention and prayers than ever regarding the situation.
So the question is what is happening and who are these characters fooling? The clerics have LIED and continue to LIE. Since they have respect and regard for the "Holy Injil" maybe what they need to read is this:

Psalms 101:7 ~ "He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight."

The United States Government:

Like in the Troy Davis American lynching, the government has been virtually silent, in that they have offered nothing of any potency, but unlike the Troy Davis lynching, they have not been completely silent and at least have made a statement. On Thursday (10/6) the White House condemned the possible execution of Pastor Youcef, stating:
“[a] decision to impose the death penalty would further demonstrate the Iranian authorities’ utter disregard for religious freedom….”
In essence, placing him in prison for this may be acceptable, just as long as he is not killed??? What are we to make of this ambiguous and extremely weak position from the nation that leads the free world?

In a press statement released Sept. 30th 2011, Hillary Clinton and The United States Dept. Of State said this in full:
September 30, 2011
The United States is deeply concerned by reports of the Iranian government’s continued repression of its people. Despite statements from Iran’s Supreme Leader and President claiming support for the rights and freedoms of Iranian citizens and people in the region, the government continues its crackdown on all forms of dissent, belief, and assembly.
We are particularly concerned by reports that Christian pastor Youcef Nadarkhani is facing execution on charges of apostasy for refusing to recant his faith. This comes amid a harsh onslaught against followers of diverse faiths, including Zoroastrians, Sufis, and Baha’is.
Iran’s government continues to arrest journalists and filmmakers. They are restricting access to information by jamming incoming satellite broadcasts and filtering the Internet.
The United States stands with the international community and all Iranians against the Iranian government’s hypocritical statements and actions, and we continue to call for a government that respects the human rights and freedom of all those living in Iran.
PRN: 2011/1636
Certainly this is a highly charged situation, but it is not the first time that Christians have been persecuted for preaching the gospel and teaching Jesus in a predominately Islamic country in modern times. Iran has probably one of the worst track records for religious freedom. However, this event has managed to gain much public attention rightfully so.

Conclusion

Although we can look at Iran and claim how bad it is there, I'll have you know that we are facing a equally devastating morality and VALUES crisis and challenge within America. There are all kinds of ideas as to what American values are and what values society should embrace. Recently, on Youtube, a commentor, angry at my statements regarding President Obama's endorsement of homosexuality, stated that
"if God didn't want gay people, then there wouldn't be"
This was a comment to underscore the perfect work of God affirming that because gay people exist and God is perfect that gay values are valid. These are the type of value sentiments that have permeated our society. Beliefs constructed by men that make no sense in the light of day or under close examination. rapists, pedophiles and murderers exist also, but does that have anything to do with God's created order or his perfection? Of course not! However, sentiments like these make sense to may individuals and groups wishing to endorse their sin of choice declaring and pronouncing "immorality" upon those in disagreement.

Pastor Youcef has given his life to the glory of the Lord and will not recant his testimony. He will be blessed and is a tremendous blessing to those of us who look at and know his story and his faith. It may not cost us our life, but what will WE do to make a difference like Pastor Youcef? As you can see, simply voicing an opinion will make one hated dearly.

The question is, what stand will you take TODAY, that may be unpopular but necessary? "Are you willing do do for the truth what the cults (and the immoral) do for a lie?" ( Quote-Hank Hanegraaff ~ Parenthesis ME)

Blessed!

  1. Islam....the religion of peace. Actually, the opposite is true. Every time an act of terrorism occurs, our talking political heads rush and fall over themselves to warn us that "islam is a religion of peace" or "this was the work of a FEW EXTREMIST muslims and does not in any way represent Islam". The reason they have to drum this into everyone's head is because everyone knows the opposite is true. I came across this good video about violence and Islam. It's called Lara Logan and political correctness. It is a real good informative video, but I won't post a link because it has a few profanity words in it, but it still speaks truth about Islam. It's by ramzpaul.

Another issue I have is with black folks embracing of Islam. Alot of blacks claim christianity is a white man's religion, so blacks ought to have nothing to do with it. But it's strange that they embrace Islam instead, because EVEN TO THIS DAY IN 2011 NOT IN THE 1800's SOMETIME , arab muslims continue to enslave Africans. Research the trans saharan slave trade. Most blacks that live in the western hemisphere, whether in North or South America and the Carribean are descendants of slaves brought from west Africa. From those few blacks, there are now millions that live here in the west. Keep in mind, the trans atlantic slave trade only lasted only 3 centuries, however the muslim slave trade lasted 13 centuries and continues to this day. Knowing this, why is there no sizeable African population in the middle east like there is here in the west? Because arab muslims routinely castrated African males that were captured as slaves and killed the babies of African women (and many of those babies were products of rape by arab muslim men, because young African women are still to this day captured for use as sex slaves).

And whether blacks want to believe it or not, it was white christians who pushed for the abolition of slavery here in the west. It was christian nations that made slavery illegal here in the west. Christians abolished slavery in the British empire in about 1803 and abolished slavery here in the U.S. in 1865. Only recently did Islamic countries start making slavery illegal (at least on paper) and that was only because Christian nations pressured them to do so. So in order to be consistent, if you say Christianity is a white mans religion, then you have to say Islam is an Arab mans religion. And if you use that as a basis for not wanting anything to do with Christianity, then you definitely shouldn't want anything to do with Islam.

  3. Great material FM and isn't that interesting. It wasn't Islam that vied for "freedom" for people or slaves. It was Christianity and christian values that brought that to the forefront requesting equality.

Islam seems to piggyback off of certain ideas then claim them for their own if they are acceptable values.

  4. I think what turned more blacks towards Islam was going back to the 1960's, MLK advocated nonviolent resistance and many young black men came to associate christianity with being weak, being an uncle tom, and being emasculated. So it became perceived that christian men were weak and muslim men were strong and masculine. That is not true.

Being a christian man does not mean you have to be a pushover. Jesus drove the moneychangers out of the temple with a whip, the apostles carried swords, King David (who was a man after Gods own heart) was a warrior. This may be another topic, but I am strongly for christians owning weapons and being willing to use them if ever put in such a situation.

In Nigeria, there was a situation where some christian men used machetes to kill muslim men out of self defense. I don't think its wrong or God is somehow displeased, when christian men stand up to muslims that are persecuting them, killing them, raping their wives and daughters, and burning their churches. Its about time christian men in those parts of the world start defending themselves and families and churches, using machetes and rifles if necessary.

But Islam is not a religion of peace. And i've read the Quran myself. Whenever Islam gets into control, christians (or anyone else) are always persecuted.

  5. The Coptic Christians in Egypt are finally getting some press. This type or persecution has been going on for a long time however.

Now the Ayatollah Khamenei, the chief Islamic ruler on Sharia Law in Iran, is considering Pastor Youcef's case.

He will make the final determination on what to do with him. This proves without a doubt that the pastor DID NOT rape or extort anyone. If so the Ayatollah would not need to give an order in this.

This also opens another chapter exposing Islam as not simply a "variation" of religion...it is radical under various interpretations.

If the Ayatollah rules in favor of Pastor Youcef, there will be an Iranian uprising of epic proportions. If he rules against Pastor Youcef, the world will finally see Sharia for what it is.

This is quite the conundrum for this particular sect of Islam and Islam in general or as a whole.

  6. Pastor Youcef's story puts many pastors to shame here in the US. While many are posturing and pimping the sheeple for profit, building huge mega churches, and preaching a false gospel of prosperity, pastors like Pastor Youcef are literally laying down their lives for the Gospel. I wonder how many of these so-called "mega pastors" are willing to do the same? Selah.

  7. Wordlady,

I was in a situation about 2 weeks ago, doing a neighborhood intervention between 2 families who were threatening to kill each other. They had fought in the street and all kinds of stuff and when things got hot they called me and told me to come...I was Johnny on the spot!

Look, I would be lying if I said I didn't consider my personal safety and the future of my family without me...None of these folk were church folk and bullets could have flew anytime and this went on for about a month of trouble, council, prayer and intervention...

The thing is though, I realized that my call as a servant of Christ compels me to go to the furthest degree IF I am convinced of what God can do.

I did what I had to do, met with police, negotiated a peace and prayed for all parties, police and all...The situation has alleviated...There is still work to do, but noone is trying to kill anyone now...

What I am saying is that some of these leaders can't do nothing but talk, because they forgot what real ministry is...

Pray for me...I've got my book almost ready to go and what you are saying is part of the impetus of it. I hope to have it in publication before Christmas...will make an excellent gift for friends and family...LOL!!!
