Supposedly no one knows Baby Storm's gender because his/her parents have decided to make it a secret even to him/her and certainly to all the rest of us. The parents, Kathy Witterick, 38, and David Stocker, 39, sent this email out New Year's Day when Baby Storm was born:
"We decided not to share Storm's sex for now -- a tribute to freedom and choice in place of limitation, a standup to what the world could become in Storm's lifetime."
So Baby Storm is a representative of what the world "could become" in baby Storm's lifetime??? So far Grandparents have had to try to explain why everyone is sworn to secrecy regarding Storm's gender. Storm's brothers have even been told that the gender of their brother/sister is a secret. What do these kids tell other kids about their brother/sister? What toys do you buy? What diapers do you buy? If he is a boy, do you dress him in a dress or skirt or lace clothing?
"To raise a child not as a boy or a girl is creating, in some sense, a freak," ..."It sets them up for not knowing who they are."..."To have a sense of self and personal identity is a critical part of normal healthy development,"..."This blocks that and sets the child up for bullying, scapegoating and marginalization."..."We all have sexual identity,"..."The mission to have masculine and feminine traits more equalized and more flexible and not judgmental is awesome in a utopian community. So ultimately even those in the mental health profession claim that this "experiment" is not a good one. In fact it is down right manipulative.
The basis of this is that view is the "theory" that gender is a learned behavior. That if a person is not taught gender association and expression, that they will be and become a "sexually free" person uninhibited by bring "trained" to embrace a certain gender and having the ability to express themselves as sexually neutral. In essence, in their perfect world, the person may embrace a gender but it will be without being pressured to do so? As Storm's mother says:
"In fact, in not telling the gender of my precious baby, I am saying to the world, 'Please can you just let Storm discover for him/herself what she (he) wants to be?!."
What if Storm gets older and wants to go to the restroom at a restaurant? Do you mean that Storm can impose his "freedom" to invade the privacy of men or women in their respective bathrooms because he is not an expression of either, or because he/she is gender neutral?

Regarding Same Sex Marriages and Civil Unions
The President’s position regarding “same-sex marriage” has set off a “firestorm,” unlike any other debate in our civil society, perhaps, since the civil rights unrest of the mid-20th century. The advocacy for same-sex marriage, while in conflict with our nation’s long-standing moral posture, has indeed, created opportunity for the Church to communicate our unequivocal position about God’s design and foundation for humanity, the biblical mandate for heterosexuality through the bonds of matrimony and, the centuries-old understanding of the only acceptable means of procreation, habitation, and the establishment of the family.
As we stated in Pt. 1 of this examination of the confusion and resultant fallout over the President's decision to pay gay advocacy, by openly standing in favor of homosexual marriage, there is much confusion over what the church should do and how the church should best respond. Ministers are allover the board on the issue (as planned) with many bailing out on biblical morality more quickly than the first titanic sank.
Already some are simply calling for Presidential reelection at all costs minimizing the moral and social issues involved, claiming that the community is better off when moral values are lowered to facilitate and endorse homosexual marriage, while obfuscating and infusing the issue with emotives such as "love" and "acceptance" all of which have nothing to do with the extension of homosexual marriage as a civil right. However, what NONE of the advocates say, whether in the pulpit or on congressional or state house floors, is exactly what happens to everything else when marriage is allowed to move from it's traditional root into the homosexual based root of marital acceptance. For example, do we hear any of the advocates discussing these things:
(California)....Foster Parents must take a "Reeducation Class" embracing the gay agenda, to be allowed to house foster kids.
(California) - Public Schools have a mandated pro-homosexual policy that sends objecting students to "appropriate counseling" without notifying their parents.
(California) - A business was put out of business (with a $150,000 fine) for firing a male employee who wore a dress to work.
(Colorado )- A dad was told by a judge that he can't teach his daughter anything "homophobic" [who defines what that is?]
As stated in a teacher's lesson aid, published by the Gay & Lesbian Educators (GALE)..... "We must dishonour the prevailing belief that heterosexuality is the only acceptable orientation, even though that would mean dishonouring the religious beliefs of Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc"
(Massachusetts) As reported on The Dunamis Word, in 2004, Dr. David Parker would receive jail time for taking the school and school board to task over the book delivered to his kindergartner, "Who's In A Family" by Robert Skutch. The book introduced the concept that two fathers and two mothers were acceptable family arrangements, regardless of the child's rearing or family moral values. When Dr. Parker sought to opt his child out of the segment he was told that was not an option. When he further questioned and protested the issue not only was he placed in jail and fined, he was told by the courts that the school had more authority to educate his child in the law (homosexual acceptance) than he had as a parent to instill moral values regarding marriage and gender relationships.

Since President Obama made specific statements regarding his
endorsement of homosexual marriage, the church community has been divided, some
even realigning what they believe and how they interpret the bible to align
with the Obamaian political agenda and pluralistic world view.
Religious Confusion & The Surprise?
One of the most interesting things regarding the President’s endorsement of gay marriage is that so many preachers, such as Jamal Bryant, say that they were “surprised” at the President’s position.

This communication comes in response to claims received by our national office concerning alleged lewd conduct and inappropriate sexual acts alleged to have been committed by Pastor Erik M. Cooper, of Phoenix, Arizona, with an adult female church member. Upon presentation of these accusations to Pastor Cooper, he submitted his resignation and official separation from all responsibilities within the Church of God in Christ (“COGIC”). This includes his local church, district, the Arizona jurisdiction, and the National Church.

In the ongoing battle for gay acceptance many good
heterosexuals have been caught in the cross hairs and have lost their will to
fight for truth or simply stumbled and gotten confused over the real issues.
Once such stumble may have happened in Maryland over the issue of gay marriage.
Contrary to what we noted in our story “You Go Maryland...In God We Trust” there
are other pastoral voices that endorse gay marriage in the state as well. Pastor
Delman Coates of Mount
Ennon Baptist Church in the Prince George’s County town of Clinton, is one
such pastor that supports the gay marriage bill of Maryland. He is also reported
to have strongly stood with Governor Martin O’Malley lending his time talent
and voice to the expansion of marital rights to same sex couples. This is some
of what he has said:
“I think that using private,
religious beliefs, and local church practices for legislation establishes a
dangerous precedent in America,”…
He has said this as well:
“We have fought
for inclusion, for freedom of religion, so that means if I want to be free to
exercise my own religious beliefs, I have to extend that same courtesy and
right to others, regardless of what I may think they do in private,”
And the last thing to examine is this:
“Gays and lesbians are part of our
communities, they are part of our families, they are part of our church
families,” …“I believe that the church ought to be a place where all people,
regardless of their lifestyle, ought to be welcome.’
Now, I want to be the first to say that I don’t know Pastor
Coates and in that spirit, I’m confident that he is a good man and an excellent servant of God.
So I do not aim to impugn his character. However, he has made certain truth
claims which seem to be a basis for his argument in support of homosexual marriage
and I believe that his truth statements should be examined as I believe that they exemplify a departure from the faith as it pertains to these matters.

I wonder where are the American women’s advocacy and human
rights groups on that issue? Where is NOW on that issue? It seems that all of

If he had gone to someone who actually studied the bible for it's real message, instead of those who promote propaganda to justify their sins, (aka: Sam Harris or any of the modern irrational atheists and such like) he would have known that the bible does not endorse slavery, especially the chattel slavery that his forefathers more than likely practiced within the United States. What's equally as important, is this how tax payer education dollars are being spent? If a Christian took the time to waylay the Quran, there would have been outrage. Recently, VH1 aired a program called "Planet Rock: The Story Of Hip Hop and The Crack Generation" which uncovered the relationship between drugs, the hip hop culture, rap music, social and political injustice and the resultant high rates of incarceration and addiction within the black community. After viewing the program I would recommend it to anyone wanting a look at the genesis of many of the problems that we face today within our inner city communities. This program also outlines the politics that occurred to subdue a generation of Black men and women, thwarting and hindering chances for productive, successful and happy families. In short, there has been a wholesale upheaval of nearly a generation of Black people in particular and too many of us have been lulled into sleep not fully understanding that what has happened over the last 40 years have had an acute effect today on both individuals and families all over the United States.
Then, There's The Church
What is equally as interesting to me is the disintegration of the influence of the church over the same time period. The church has certainly become a more visable part of the landscape, with larger buildings and more grand places of worship, but with less influence to effect change within the effected communities and the community in general. Too many leaders have sold themselves to being "politically correct" and connected through friendships and ungodly associations. However, there has been a great cost to all of those choices.
Are We Responders?
Although it wasn't what the video set out to do, as I watched I noticed that it clearly displays the church responding to the proliferation of drugs, crime and violence and the rise of hip-hop as an alternative way of expression for young Black youth. Like in all communities when trouble arises, I noticed that community meetings and strategy sessions took place at the church.
The problem is that God didn't give the church a mission to simply react or be in a reactive mode. He gave the church a mission to be proactive and take the gospel to the streets and ultimately into the world. Although the church will respond if it has to, the mission is simply this:
Matthew 28:19-20 ~ "19-Go ye therefore,
and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son,
and of the Holy Ghost: 20-Teaching them to
observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you
alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Thank God for all those who yield themselves as often as possible by rendering their ministries, time and talents to solving and addressing issues that have devastated a whole generation, but Lord help those who have forgotten the mission of Christ and sought after "other gods", such as the gods of money, status, materialism and political associations.
If it is that being a "friend" to the world is of greater importance than saving the world from its sins, then we have become like the salt that has lost all of its savor...we're good for nothing, but to be trod under the foot of men.

it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under
foot of men."
Relocation of the church to the suburbs or to areas in which problems such as these aren't readily witnessed, may make us more comfortable, but it certainly doesn't and didn't make us any more powerful or situated to deliver an effective and timely message or display of the power of God that this generation needs to witness.
The Peoria, IL. Diocean Bishop of the Roman Catholic Church, Bishop Daniel Jenky, took the time to rally the community at the annual Call to Catholic Men of Faith march last Saturday April 14th. It seems that Bishop Jenky has joined a host of other even more prominently known Catholic leaders, such as Cardinal Timothy Dolan of New York, in condemning the Obama administration over the issue of mandatory contraception coverage within the health care law.
It really is interesting because the administration courted Catholics in particular, prior to the election, even providing reassurance that it wouldn't infringe upon religious liberty and freedoms only to do a complete 180 on the issue currently.
Among other statements, he encouraged fellow Catholics by stating the following:

This was part of an hour long interview on OWN. Bishop Jakes was asked by Oprah, were there other "paths" to God.
I was left somewhat confused by the answer. He started off talking about celebrating freedom of religion and "tolerance" THEN changed the conversation to explain how some find God at the church, house, bedroom and even prison. Finding God at various places has NOTHING to do with freedom or tolerance. Why the confusion???
He then affirms that there may be different paths, but only one God and one Door.
Not satisfied with the answer (as well as she should not have been) Oprah ask Jakes more specifically "Are all the religions leading to that path or is it only Christianity leads to that path?"
Jakes then responds by saying that even Christians within Christianity can miss the path....and more specifically that he believes that many people can start in other religions and cross over, even at their last breath, because he believes that Jesus is that door.
Update:
I watched this interview again on Sunday April 15th. Later in another segment in the same interview, Jakes came back to this question and affirmed to Oprah that there "had to be many different paths to God, because we all have different experiences" to which Oprah affirmed that everyone's understanding is a t a different level. so that makes sense.
Jakes equivocated on the word "path" he presented it as if, being saved out of different experiences in life was acceptable. That God can save at home or in church. Oprah believes that ALL RELIGION leads to the same GOd. She believes in eclecticism and universalism.
This was a deceptive move filled with obfuscation. After watching, anyone not concerned about the Bishop's answer that is receiving spiritual guidance from him ought to have him clarify what he means. He denied the same doctrine when Carlton Pearson presented it years ago. Why does he embrace it now???
Did he answer the question? I think he did and it is disturbing.
Yet hailing the virtue and singing the praise of Planned Parenthood's founder, Margaret Sanger, on March 28th, 2012 current Planned Parenthood director, Cecile Richards, continued to deliver Planned Parenthood's new marketing strategy at Princeton University upon the invitation of the Woodrow Wilson School of Keeping Politics Out Of Women's Health. Mrs. Richards delivered much information regarding the current political climate and the future marketing efforts of the Planned Parenthood organization which aims at avoiding the legislative process at all costs.
For the most part she claimed that a political disconnect, driven by political and social conservatives has created a hostile environment for Planned Parenthood in the political arena. Significant political pressure has been levied to restrict "the delivery of health services to women" and potentially eliminate federal funding of the organization itself. In short there is a threat to the future viability of the organization which claims that they are much more than an abortion agency delivering multiple services directed towards "woman's health" in general.
Note This Right Here:NOBODY wants less for women's health. However, what we want is the LIE of Planned Parenthood to cease and for them to stop performing abortions with taxpayer dollars and claiming that it is an equivalent issue of women's health such as mammograms and annual exams. This is a LIE as less than 1% of all abortions are because of any emergency medical care necessary to save the mother's life.
Back to the issue:
While it may be true that Planned Parenthood has diversified their services and claim that their organization is geared towards the distribution of information and "women's health" in general, the fact yet remains that abortion services, all while being only 3% of total overall annual activity of the organization, (having served 3 million people and performed 329,445 abortions this is actually 11% of their customers) is yet the core or premium service for Planned Parenthood.
In this post I will refer you to the book "The Case For The Resurrection of Jesus" by Gary Habermas and Michael R. Licona [2004 Kregel Publications]. This is an excellent read presenting what is called the "minimal facts" approach to explaining the resurrection of Jesus and overcoming various objections and novel speculations.
There are generally 5 primary objections to the resurrection of Jesus as recorded within the gospels. They are:
1- That there was no resurrection (this goes with that there was no Jesus, a concept which has been all but utterly debunked, even by many of the most liberal scholars)
2- Believers suffered from delusions
3- Believers suffered from hallucinations
4- Believers suffered an illusion
5- Believers suffered some sort of conversion disorder (Neurological disorder)
The first issue of "no resurrection" is also held by the religion of Islam, which claims that Jesus could not have risen because he didn't suffer death on the cross. This is also a view held by historic revisionists asserting that there was no Jesus of history (at least of biblical history) and that the gospel is a conflation of legend or ancient myth. I've noted that in my post, "The Raging Battle For The Jesus Of History".
Although I don't plan to spend much time on either of those arguments in this post, there is an overwhelming amount of evidence that both of those hypothesis are untrue. For one, even the most liberal scholars and even those whom I've deemed anti-Christ advocates, agree that there was certainly and without question a Jesus of history, who's acts and actions were recorded within scripture. In addition, the extra-biblical record of Josephus, Tacitus, Lucien, Mara Bar-Serapion and the Talmud together provide strong evidence that not only did Jesus exist, but that he was crucified and died of crucifixion on the cross as the gospels recount.

We have all heard about the tragedy of the murder of 17 year old Trayvon Martin at the hands of neighborhood watch leader George Zimmerman, who evidently took it upon himself to become the police, judge, jury and executioner based on what he "perceived" to be "threatening" or imposing danger to the neighborhood.
As Michael Baisden has said, NFL football star, Michael Vick can get locked up and sent to jail for killing a dog, but there is no justice when it comes to the murder of a black man. How does a person murder without impunity in America? Change gun laws and add language that is geared toward eliminating a "duty to retreat" and some version of a "stand your ground law" which was obviously misinterpreted in this case.
As Witnesses come forward we are seeing a better picture of the bogus claims of Zimmerman. He may have been right about things in the past, but he was WRONG about EVERYTHING that had to do with the night that he stalked and killed Trayvon

Correction Of A Horrible Social Appeal
Supposedly this was done in protest to the PA, House's declaration that 2012 be the "Year Of The Bible". However it turned into a victimization of the neighborhood in a sense. American Atheist Harrisburg director, Ernest Perce V, said that he feels that if there are any victims, that he is one as well because he has received multiple death threats as a result of the billboard's short debut. (Ya Think Ernest???)
Saturday March 10th was National Women & Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. The alarming facts are that within the United States, women constitute 25% of all new HIV infections annually. If that weren't alarming enough, out of that 25%, Although Black women only constitute 14% of the United States population, they are approximately 60% of all new HIV infections among women. When compared to less technologically advanced sub-Saharan countries within Africa, such as in the Congo (0.28%) and Kenya (0.53%), the American numbers become especially alarming.
According to The Huffington Post Black Voices, the HIV Prevention Trials Network (HPTN), announced results from its HPTN 064 Women's HIV Seroincidence Study (ISIS) stating the following findings among 2,099 women ages 18 to 44, 88 percent of whom were black:
1.5 percent (32 women) tested positive at the outset of the study, even though they all thought they were negative.
Among those who initially tested negative for HIV, the rate of new infections was 0.24 percent within a year after joining the study.
Additional statistics are as follows:
More than 290,000 women in the United States are living with HIV/AIDS. Studies show that women tend to face greater gaps when it comes to accessing care.
One in 32 Black women will contract HIV/AIDS in their lifetime.
Black women constitute 13 percent of the total AIDS epidemic.
Heterosexual Black women have the second highest rate of new infections behind only gay and bisexual men.
Black women contract the disease at 15 times the rate of white women
Quite naturally, this leads to questions of rates of incidence among black women in particular.

The Life Changer
Why is this singular event in history shrouded with so much doubt and confusion? By his resurrection Jesus proved that he was more than a mere man and that he had power over all power as God in the flesh. Without

In the first report from Nancy Grace on HLN after the death of Whitney Houston, she raised certain questions regarding the nature of death and the body of Whitney. When it was said that Whitney had been found in the tub, Nancy raised the speculation that someone had possibly "pushed her" beneath the water in the bathtub. In addition, she also raised the question of how did anyone know that someone else wasn't with her at the moment of death? To me, this made sense, because Nancy, as a trained investigator and lawyer, wasn't quick to make the assumption that everything was as it had been initially reported. After all, for years, according to her bodyguards, Whitney was never left alone for more than 10 minutes in the bathroom, consistently told to take showers instead of baths and checked on regularly just to insure her safety and health. Why did it all breakdown a that exact moment in that specific fashion?
Where Are The Witnesses?
We now find out that Whitney's body was never witnessed by any authority to be in the bathtub at all. According to reports, her body was found by emergency personnel in less than 10 minutes after the call, laying on the floor in the living room area of her hotel room, not even on the bathroom floor. Supposedly she had been pulled out of the tub by those who had found her. However, doesn't it seem strange to pull her out and keep pulling her out until she gets into the living room? Why not place her on the bed or a couch if the aim was to get her to a more comfortable place? Why the living room floor, and what advantage did the living room have as opposed to the bathroom floor if we're dealing with an emergency?
Who And What Was Really Celebrated At The Party?
As stated, interestingly enough, Whitney was to be featured and honored at a pre-Grammy party. However, while she lay there on the floor, at 3:55 PM, after what is reportedly less than 10 minutes of resuscitation efforts by EMT's, until nearly 3:00AM the next day, a party took place under the feet of them that stood over her dead body, under the direction of Clive Davis, the man that she most trusted in the world, named the Godfather of her daughter, and that had earned billions of dollars off of her success.
President Obama, while implementing his version of the doctrine of plurality for America, consistently refers to "E Pluribus Unum" or "Out of many one" as if it were the national motto of the United States. In reality, the Official National Motto of the United States is "In God We Trust", which was adopted in 1956. Of note, the effort by the homosexual and anti-religious and atheistic right has failed at every attempt to have our official national motto removed, repealed or replaced.
Why would anyone want it removed or changed, because it's only a motto?
Because the very notion of "God" not only acknowledges the shared American heritage and history of the reason that America was founded, but it also suggests that transcendent and objective moral values exist. If transcendent moral values exist, then there is first, a such thing as inalienable rights, (which was acknowledged by American's Founding Fathers) and those truths cannot be legislated or delivered by the whim of the state. Those values and rights transcend the state. In other words the state or government of men cannot and does not validate or dispense such personal freedoms, rights and values as they can only be given by the lawgiver of transcendent values. To state it differently, truth exists without the validation or sanction of the state or the government.
As it pertains to marriage, the truth of the institution is self evident and perversions of it are manifest. No single individual on this earth arrived by process of a homosexual union. To the contrary every one alive today arrived by process of a genetic pairing of a male and a female. This is a transcendent truth. The foundation of American society rests upon this truth and should not, and does not, deserve to be threatened by what can only be considered a perversion of truth and at best a social diversity demanding the exaltation to transcendent truth which it does not deserve. It demands establishment within the construct of the law. Although law may establish social rights, it in no wise establishes truth or right moral values.

Civil Unions are already the law in the State of Illinois adopted under Governor Pat Quinn. Recently, openly gay state Reps. Greg Harris, Deb Mell and Kelly Cassidy, introduced the Religious Freedom and Marriage Fairness Act that would provide that all state laws "applicable to marriage apply equally to marriages of same-sex and different-sex couples and their children" and granting them "the same benefits, protections, and responsibilities under law," according to the Huffington Post Chicago by way of The Windy City Times.
As you can see, these reps are not only openly gay themselves, but they are also blind to the fact that homosexual marriage isn't about an equal access issue. It's a moral issue. It's a truth issue. This is about transcendent values, rights and personal freedoms that the state or government cannot confer or expand without effecting and attempting to remove and eliminate the same standard of values that they claim to hold so dearly. If marital rights anywhere can be expanded or denied by and by an act of legislation then marriage is not a transcendent value or right. It is simply something delivered by moral relativists acting within their time based on their subjective opinion of the way things should be.
However, the evidence and testimony of history, empirical evidence of genetics and arguments of philosophical morality all vie in favor the existence of transcendent objective moral values and truths and marriage between a man and a woman as an institution itself. As stated, values and truths are not and cannot be delivered by the state, but can only be delivered by God. Since that is the case, these values cannot be conferred by men. The boundaries can only be delivered by acknowledgement of what we already know to be the truth. That:
Marriage is and only should be between ONE MAN and ONE WOMAN.
This is a transcendent value which our generation cannot afford to compromise no matter what power hungry, immoral and greedy politicians and a legislating judiciary wish to assert. All men have a right to exist and enjoy personal freedoms. However, we can easily and readily acknowledge that all institutions are NOT open or accessible to all men simply by virtue of their existence. To assume that all men have access to all institutions simply because they exist is like setting up an endless amount of dominoes that when pushed, will only continue to cause more and more to fall. In this case, if we accept that homosexual marriage is a transcendent moral right, accessible to all men simply because they exist, then the flood gate is opened to any arrangement deemed to be essential to the existence of any man. Arrangements such as that of polygamy (which has a longer history than homosexuality), polyamory, pedophilia and a host of other deviant sexually diverse relationships would have to be acceptable institutions because men exist and demand acknowledgement of such actions. It would only be a matter of time and political meandering before these acts and others are legislated by moral relativists giving in to whims, feelings and desires as well.
