WELCOME TO THE POST THAT WENT VIRAL...AT LEAST IN MY FACEBOOK THREAD
I must say, that although things change we actually see how much they remain the same.
This post sent my Facebook thread into the stratosphere. I was totally surprised as for years, over the years, I have mentioned Bishop Jakes to one degree or another on this blog and in my facebook thread.
Little did I realize that what the Bishop said, in a message some time ago, before his apparent stroke or health crisis and prior to his exposure of his association with currently incarcerated P Diddy or Sean Combs. In fact, I have avoided and resisted piling on to the Bishop in those things, and have not sought information regarding any of that or the salacious details regarding the issue...
One lazy, Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 15th, 2026 at approximately 3:30PM...yep, us old folk need a nap sometime during the middle of the day...I had the TD Jakes Network on and was fading in and out of sleep...Then, in a particular message, I heard him say, with my own ears...that God "shot the semen of his word into our spirit so that we could grow".....
NOW...first, I thought I had slipped into an alternate reality or a portal...I said, I just know what I heard wasn't real, he didn't say that" But immediately, I realized that a most carnal analogy had been delivered regarding God and his relationship to mankind. This is what I have termed JEZEBELIANISM. In my new message entitled "The REAL Spirit of Jezebel" I point out that aim of Jezebel was not the sexualization of society, but the reversion of society away from truth and into rank idolatry. To see the responses of support for carnal statement that seek to mix the holy with the profane, I can certainly conclude that JEZEBELIANISM is alive and well and flowing from pulpits across America.
You see, there is no such thing is "Love making worship" to God, or a "spiritual orgasm" of that God is "shooting semen" or "busting a spiritual nut" or otherwise. These things are IDIOTIC and unspiritual, ungodly, and profane renderings of God's relationship to his people. Once can attempt to relate the word "seed" with "sperm" or "semen" all one wants, but you, your doctrine and belief are total TRASH and worthy of HELL.
Yes, this message may have been some time ago, but the implications are the same...this is REAL and meaningful. So meaningful that the editors didn't feel that it needed to be edited out, even after the illusive baby oil/Diddy speculations...
I am convinced, the problem is not falling...the problem is wallowing in the fall and failure and refusing to repent and get back up and trust God. This man, having also done many good things, has also led a generation into the acceptance of false doctrine and false analogy. I DON'T condemn him, but I certainly pray that he decries not only this sort of statement, but others over the years in which he has projected false, sinful and heretical ideals and values upon God's word and to the people.
Hate me if you wish. However, you'll be hating the victim for being victimized...but it seems today, that's what too many of us do.
