President Obama @ National Prayer Breakfast. What Did He Really Say?

Tell me what you think. Blessed!

Star Parker's review of President Obama's presentation on the Mark Levin Show.

  1. He reveals many things here including why no high ranking American official was at the march in France after the Charlie Hebdo attack. You'll hear that starting about 13:15 into this

  2. He also places the goals and values of all religions on the same plane. This is incorrect and a false rendering of religion. He is also supposedly talking about "faith" but using it as an synonym for religion.

  3. One more thing. At about 19:00 minutes in, President Obama quotes "love thy neighbor as thyself" crediting that saying to the Torah, the Jewish OT. Here is what a website says of this sort of teaching:

    "The Christian Gospels also say that loving thy neighbor is one of the two greatest commandments (Mark 12:29-31). However, long before Christianity, Jewish tradition taught: “Love thy neighbor is one of the great principles in the Torah” (Sifra 2:12). The famous Jewish sage Hillel, who flourished well before Christianity, said: “Don’t do unto others what you would not want do to you – that is the whole Torah; the rest is commentary” (Babylonian Talmud, Shabbos 31a). {Judaism Online http://www.simpletoremember.com/jewish/blog/loving-thy-neighbor-judaism/ }

    Now, of course the foundation of the principles of love are contained within the OT. There is no doubt of that. However, Jesus did 2 things that were unique....

    1- He expanded the law of love beyond the boarders of Jews and fellow countrymen as was the common Jewish interpretation.

    2- He expanded the concept of neighbor beyond Jews and countrymen.

    3- JESUS not the Torah actually said what President Obama said. Hilliel DID NOT say it, nor did any other Jewish teacher, and as they are saying things, none of what they say is considered Torah. The Torah is the first 5 books of Moses, NOT a commentary of Hilliel or the Talmud, or Shabbos.

    So this is simply and plainly wrong.
