Praying For The Family & The Ministry Of Dr. Myles Munroe

"The greatest tragedy in life is not death, but a life without a purpose.” — Dr. Myles Munroe

With deep sadness it has been brought to our attention that Dr. Myles Munroe along with his wife Ruth, and his daughter, have gone before us into glory after a plane crash in the Bahamas today, Sunday Nov. 9th.

Sources report that the crash occurred when the plane, a Lear 36 executive jet, malfunctioned for some currently unknown reason, hitting a crane on its final approach to the Grand Bahama International Airport.

Charisma News reported the following:
"Dr. Myles Munroe, internationally-known author, bible teacher, governmental consultant and leadership mentor, was one of nine passengers on a plane that crashed in Grand Bahama on Sunday afternoon, according to multiple news reports.
A Lear 36 executive jet left the Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA) for the Grand Bahama International Airport, the Department of Civil Aviation reports. The plane departed at 4:07 p.m. and carried nine people. The vessel crashed while making its landing approach, the Department of Civil Aviation said.

News reports indicate his wife, Ruth, and daughter were also killed in the crash. "
Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake made the report to the members and congregation of the Church Of God In Christ at the 107th Annual Holy Convocation asking the Saints to pray for the remaining Munroe family, relatives and the ministry that is left in the wake of these tragic events.

Dr. Munroe was a man of integrity and a man who believed in the success of God ordained and sanctioned marriage between one man and one women. He lived his testimony and was not a small thinker by any means. In passing it is not in obscurity, adversity or scandal, but it is with his wife, his daughter, and ministry associates as they sought to do the will of God and encourage the people of God within the body of Christ.

Further, Dr. Munroe was the founder of Bahama Faith Ministries International which was a ministry instituted to lift and encourage the body of Christ, minister to marriages, and uplift leaders in the Faith. Dr. Munroe was also the author of 69 books.

“Solid character will reflect itself in consistent behavior, while poor character will seek to hide behind deceptive words and actions.”— Dr. Myles Munroe

The Dunamis Word and Ministries of the New Bethel COGIC stand in awe of what God has allowed and in prayer for the surviving son of Dr. Munroe and for the strength of the members of the ministry. Times like these remind us that we all must find our purpose in life and fulfill it until the end. We are also reminded that we are living to live again and that this life is NOT all that we have hope in.

2 Cor. 5:6 -10 ~ 6-Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7(For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 8-We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 9-Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. 10-For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Blessed the memory of Dr. Myles Munroe & his family!
