As the saints of God converge upon St. Louis, MO. for the 104th Annual Holy Convocation, we are reminded of the precarious times in which we live. There are ISSUES that must be addressed. He has called us, to holiness, without which "no man shall see the Lord" (Heb. 12:14). The redefinition of holiness within the culture and the church is a challenge of epic proportions. What does it mean to be "Saved, Sanctified, Baptized and Filled With The Holy Ghost" as we once proudly and unashamedly stated? If one has been around the Pentecostal church for any length of time, one has either said or heard someone say that they are glad to be

"...Saved, sanctified, baptized and filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost and that with [a mighty burning]fire!"

The following is an attempt to display why that saying was important within what became known as the Pentecostal church and circles, and what, if anything, that it means today. One may also reference our previous article "What Does 21st Century Holiness Look Like?" for additional information on the holiness movement. 

Some Turn Of The Century Pentecostal History

The turn of the 20th century gave rise to what became known as Pentecostalism in the West. Originally termed "The Apostolic Faith Movement" people from all denominations and faith persuasions were drawn to a place in Los Angeles, California at 312 Azusa St., to witness, analyze and partake in what was a religious phenomena. You see, there was not only shouting, spiritual dancing, and a new level of freedom of worship, there was also an out-flowing of spiritual gifts, beginning with "tongues" according to Acts 2:1-4:

This is a sad testimony when the business of church turns our families to demonic oppression and possession. Why did he "pretend" so long? Because they taught him to and it was all he knew. Listen to this song, and if it is not sad I don't know what it is. 

He professes that he is on a special mission and assignment from God to reach certain of those that are lost. However he himself is not healed. I know nothing else that will help except for prayer and casting the devil out.

Zachery Tims, New York & A Good Name

Prov. 22:1 ~ "A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favor rather than silver and gold."

The public may never know what caused the death of Pastor Zachery Tims, what the substance was in his pocket or if the "real" Tims stood up before his death. According to reports over the last couple of weeks, Mr. Tims mother has sued  to withhold information from public records. 

While we certainly understand the love of a mother toward her son and the preservation of his memory toward the public and for the benefit of his children; those that followed and supported his ministry deserve to be confronted with the truth. After all, many people contributed to this man's ministry and bought his material with their hard earned money. Many viewed him regularly on TV, and had confidence in his insights.  Zachery appeared in multiple conferences and collected hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars in part based on his testimony, portrayed lifestyle and statements of public encouragement. He didn't do this alone. He did this with friends and other mega star Christian ministers some of which have already said that they knew Zachery had problems and certain issues.

When asked to repent of his "apostasy" of becoming a Christian, this was the Pastor's response:

Sharia Law In Action & United States Silence In The Face Of Oppression!

Now, the Iranian Supreme (Mullah Clerics) Court which is a court of ISLAMIC Law, not a court of democratic process law, has said that Youcef has been convicted for Christianity and his religious beliefs.

"During court trials, he denied the prophecy of Mohammad and the authority of Islam. He has stated that he is a Christian and no longer Muslim. During many sessions in court with the presence of his attorney and a judge, he has been sentenced to execution by hanging according to article 8 of Tahrir–olvasileh."

However, more recently, since the international attention has increased on the violation of human rights (which is legitimate in this case) and imprisonment, the Iranian leaders have switched the claims and trumped up a LIE charging rape and extortion.

“This individual is guilty and his crime is not attempting to convert others to Christianity, rather his crimes are of a security nature,” ~Ali Rezvani, Deputy Governor of Gilan Province.

The "death penalty" according to leading Iranian spokespersons, has been suspended however. Under Islamic

The Mormon Mirage

Hank Hanegraaff of the Christian Research Institute (CRI) has been a diligent worker and voice within mainstream Christian apologetics. For almost 25 years he has been a mainstay on his daily "Bible Answer Man" radio broadcast which was inherited by the founder of CRI, the late Dr. Walter Martin.

Though at times controversial, Hank never fails to deliver an answer for the hope that lies within with gentleness and with respect. Recently he delivered the following regarding the religion and the belief system of the emerging leading republican presidential candidate Mit Romney:

It sounds pretty good, but then, it's supposed to. For decades, Mormon leadership has made a concerted effort to win over Americans by making it appear Mormons hold the same basic tenets as Christians. In fact, they are obscuring the face of Mormonism through the manufacture of a Mormon mirage.

Will The HRC Hire A "Non-Homosexual" To Replace Solmonese?

The current President of the Human Rights campaign (HRC), Joe Solmonese,  has announced that he will not renew his contract and sill step aside when his contract expires in March 31st, 2012.

"HRC has never been stronger and after nearly seven years, this is the right moment for me to move on,”...“As I explore new professional possibilities, I plan on continuing to pour my heart and soul into improving the lives of members of our community – from battling proposed marriage amendments to creating more equitable workplaces to ensuring the President Obama is reelected for a second term.”

There are a list of candidates that are being reviewed for the position all of them either gay or lesbian.

I wonder, since "equality" is supposedly the message of the HRC will it live up to its talk? Will they hire a straight or non-gay male or female to lead them? My bet is that they WON'T! Not because a qualified, non-gay, candidate doesn't exist, but because they will only cater to homosexuals in employment and only include homosexuals in decision making and in the direction of the HRC, while claiming that heterosexuals are discriminating against them.

We all know that President Obama's claim is that the goal of his Presidency and the HRC is to end "Discrimination". He stated just as much on Oct. 1st 2011 to the HRC as you can see for yourself HERE. 

Speculation has it that Lesbian activist Cathy Woolard is primed for the post. Othes say it will go to someone else within the gay community.  All I can say is that with all this talk of "non-discrimination" and "equality" it sure seems like a good time for someone to put their money where their mouth has been. 

Below is Solmonese's last dinner with the President. I have added annotation so that you won't miss any of the overt and subtle misstatements that are made.  

Now, remember in 2009, while many of us thought that funding of our troops was the only issue, and was wondering why it was taking so long to pass a bill to fund them? Solmonese reveals that he was proud that there was a "little attachment" that he didn't think anyone would say anything about nor fight...This is gay advocacy...their way at ALL COSTS and at the expense of all else and all others!

In addition to his Million dollar mansion with his husband/wife Jed Hastings, here are a few additional facts about Joe:

• He previously was chief executive officer of EMILY's (Early Money Is Like Yeast) List. 

• He has also worked for numerous campaigns and in government positions. 

• He began his career as an aide in the office of Massachusetts Gov. Michael Dukakis. 

• He also developed the Political Opportunity Program for state and local candidates to ensure a stream of viable, electable women candidates.

Out of about 8.7 million estimated gay adults within the US, whatever Joe has done, hasn't been enough to make gays give up the cash in the amounts that gay advocacy groups would like to see it given up. Here are the current estimates of giving from gays to gay advocacy groups such as the HRC:

• Only 3.4% (280,984 persons) of the LGBT community donated greater than $35 to LGBT causes in 2009. That was roughly about 280,984 persons. 

• Only .2% (14,748 persons) of the LGBT community donated greater than $1,000 to LGBT causes in 2009. 

• This leaves 96.5% (8.4 million persons) that don't contribute to LGBT causes.

The gay advocacy is politically connected and they are pressing more political buttons than ever to maneuver and manipulate both the law and the court of public opinion. It is time for the church to engage in a serious battle of cultural apologetics to place a full orbed, healthy and biblical perspective on these issues. 

2 Thess. 2:7 ~ "For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way."

Part of our mission as believers, until the rapture, is to STAND in the way in effort to prevent lawlessness, so that souls can be saved and harvested into the kingdom. Preaching to the 4 walls and trying to convince others over the internet about some broke and perverted theological system plays into the hands of the homo-advocate. Then the rank hypocrisy of leaders such as Eddie Long and others have dealt the church a significant blow. Then others that refuse to be a part of uprooting cultural conformity are another part of the problem and not the solution.

When "Gay Day" Comes Your Way - The Homosexual Rite Becomes Law Pt. 2

 "Studies show gay and lesbian couples do as well as parents as opposite-sex couples,"..."They (Catholic Charities) do not have the right to impose religious values on those who are wards of the state," ~ Harvey Grossman, Legal Director  ACLU Illinois

I previously spoke of a Presidential candidate and his promises in "When Gay Day Comes Your Way -The Homosexual Rite Becomes Law", sharing information as to why any community, state, and the country should not consider legalizing homosexual marriage. In that article I pointed out the atrocities suffered by Dr. David and Tonia Banner when it came to the right of the state (Massachusetts) to educate their children in a manner consistent with the law. Let's just say that parental "rights" to educate a child otherwise within the public school system doesn't exist!

You see, when gay marriage is the law, the public school system has the RIGHT and even the MANDATE to teach your children that gay sexuality is valid and that marriage between gays are just as admirable as marriage between heterosexual couples, simply because it is the law. In fact, isn't that the exact position of our President  just a short time ago to the Human Rights Campaign? As a reminder here is what he said then:

"My expectation is that when you look back on these years, you will see a time in which we put a stop to discrimination against gays and lesbians whether in the office or on the battlefield. You will see a time in which we as a nation finally recognized relationships between two men or two women, are just as real and admirable as relationships between a man and a woman." ~ President Barack Obama 10/10/2009 Address to The Human Rights Campaign

This theory, that homosexual relationships are "just as real and admirable" as relationships between a man and a woman, was introduced to and felt within Illinois. In a landmark decision, Illinois Circuit Court Judge, John Schmidt, recently held that foster care placement agencies within Illinois that are bound by a religious code of ethics and closely held religious beliefs against homosexual civil unions, are, for the most part, out of business, or at least cannot expect State funds as compensation for their services.  

The Peoria Journal Star reports that the Illinois Department Of Children & Family Services (DCFS) previously paid Catholic Charities of Illinois $30.7 Million annually for the placement of 15,600 foster children through 4 operating units in Illinois. Those units or agencies are located in Peoria, Joliet, Belleville, and Springfield.. The Catholic Charities of Peoria, which is the largest operating unit of the four,  had a $24 Million

Now, for a minute, who told Harry Belafonte that he and others like him were the "anointed" to lead blacks in America? He says that Herman Cain made it because it was in a moment that "someone blinked" What this infers is that Herman Cain's success was accidental and a mistake of the "WHITE that be"...Joy Behar and the audience finds Belafonte's commentary so entertaining not realizing that he is directly criticizing not only Cain, but the WHITE ESTABLISHMENT as being those who deny black empowerment and opportunity. HOW STUPID CAN ONE BE? At the expense of a WHITE AUDIENCE on a WHITE WOMAN'S SHOW Belafonte shows his Boule arrogance and the audience laughs as if he is saying something grand or something of value. This is HORRIFIC!

Boule...is it because of denied opportunity that Blacks are in prison at epidemic rates? Is it because of a lack of opportunity of education that blacks lack in opportunity? In the 1920's it wasn't so and we know that Jim Crowe was prevalent. Belafonte's are boule LIES, that they want you and us to believe...I REFUSE to believe it.

The 2008 Bloomer ~Barrino Prophecy

Here we go again:

Now, modern ministers are so eager to be on tape, video and everything else, it becomes easy to analyze their words and the outcome of what they say. Listen closely to a Feb. 2008 prophecy and word of healing that Bishop George Bloomer gave to Fantasia Barrino. At the time Fantasia had a tumor growing in her throat effecting her vocals. In April or early May 2008 she underwent surgery to have the tumor removed.  

Now we are compelled to ask a few things; did satan attack Fantasia, or did Fantasia attack herself? She certainly didn't deliver her giftings to the church even though that's where they seem to have come from. When did she get promoted? What work has she done for Christ or righteousness?

Maybe her promotion was in Aug. 2009, she met Antwaun Cook (a married man with 2 kids) at the T-mobile store, and began having an affair with him. Maybe it was when she moved him into her mansion (less than a month later and while he was still married)...Y'u-know it was the same mansion that Simon Cowel helped save from foreclosure. Or maybe it was before she got pregnant by the same married man, had an abortion and attempted to commit suicide...

People need to quit playing with God...he's NOT a play toy!

Paula Cook, Fantasia's illicit lover's spouse, who's children were ages 6 and 2 at the time, tried to save her marriage. CNN reported that a month after she separated from her husband expecting him to change his ways, during a husband/wife phone conversation, Fantasia got on the phone and stated the following:

"He don't want you. Maybe the next time you get a husband you'll know how to keep him. That's why he is here with me,"

Like the singing slut that she obviously has become, Fantasia is currently pregnant again and the baby is  due in either late December or Early January. The "assumption" is that Antwaun is the baby daddy...Fantasia says this about her unborn child and the situation all together:

"For a while I walked around figuring out what will they say and what will they think about me. But now I tell you I don't live my life for folk. THIS CHILD THAT I AM CARRYING...God has given me this child. And I don't have to hide it from NONE of y'all."

What about God Fantasia? Even Adam realized that he was naked, ashamed and hid himself before God. Is there no shame to expose your sins openly before God? How did God give you anything that you took from someone else while they were legally married? What does this tell all of the fans, especially the young ladies and children, that are so inspired by you, your gift and your testimony? (watch at 6:23 into the linked video as a young lady says "you're my idol") Fantasia said that she hated the devil, but if I could ask one more question I would ask is the lifestyle and the compromise that you have made, what you want for those babies too? We all need love, but God didn't tell us to settle for a sad and fake rendition of it.

Knowledge of self is essential and comes right along with knowledge of God. If you know God, you also know he didn't create yourself to be or do any of this!

The Judge Mathis Speaks Out ~ "A Gross Miscarriage Of Justice"

I did not write about this case, but it revealed a serious difference and flaw in the criminal justice system. 7 out of 9 persons can recant their testimony and the system and family is so bloodthirsty that it doesn't matter if the right person is punished...not just punished, but put to death! When do we just kill anyone to satisfy our conscience? This is one of the most sad things I have seen and when a sound minded Judge as Greg Mathis speaks out recognizing the miscarriage of justice, I will listen.  Arguably, there was more of a doubt here than in the case of Casey Anthony, but that doesn't matter when revenge at any cost is the issue and the alleged criminal is Black. Yes, Georgia, you DO have blood on your hands!

"No Distortion Of Israel Can Seperate Us From Over 4,000 Years Of History"

This is a re-up on a post originally done in May 2011 shortly after President Barak Obama's Statements regarding the reversion of Israel Israel to its pre 1967 borders in order to facilitate a Palestinian state. CBN reports that Israeli forces are in a heightened state of alert and are gearing up for retaliation due to the potential rejection of a Palestinian State by the United Nations Security Council on Friday 9/23.2011. I thought that we should take another look at the issues and the real problems involved while all of us watch a new phase of history and biblical prophecy unfold before our eyes. Here's what I wrote then:

"Israel will not return to the indefensible boundaries of 1967"

In a joint session of the US House and Senate, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took the time to educate a nation as to the real and significant problems associated with the Mid East Peace process. In what was an educational, reasonable and myth busting session, the Prime Minister laid out a solid case as to why Israel  not only lays claim to the land, as not merely occupiers, but why Israeli history makes Israel a bona fide possessor of rights to the land. Netanyahu also expressed in a very clear fashion and manner why Israel refuses to negotiate with those who even American leaders have deemed to be terrorists.

The Prime Minister openly stated that the Jewish people are willing to accept the existence of a Palestinian state, which will tend to their own poor and refugee element. He noted that his Palestinian counterpart President Abbas, should stand before The Palestinian people and say,  

"I will accept a Jewish state"

Prime Minister Netyanyahu said that those six words will change history and recounted that a Palestinian state must be built to end conflict not perpetuate it. Prediction: The problem is not that President Abbas cannot say this...the problem is that he WILL NOT say this as the goal of the Palestinian state is still the destruction of Israel. 


Update: The Palestinians have responded to the Prime Minister's remarks regarding the refusal to negotiate based on 1967 boundaries, as words that are an act of war.

Women In Ministry & Sexism Within The Christian Church

There is so much misinformation on the internet and in many Christian circles  that it can choke 10 to 15 Clydesdales in one setting. Some of those teachings are centered around spiritual gifts, tongues and women in the ministry. There are Christians, who say that they believe and study the word of the Lord diligently with an intelligent and open disposition who are convinced that gifts, tongues and women in the ministry do not exist under any context within the modern church. 

Now, for a fact, there are some complex issues at hand, and I certainly don't mean to minimize the arguments or belittle them that have differing opinions and views on certain issues. After all a person is free to believe what they wish at the end of the day. However, the sad part is that some of the least learned on the issues are the primary ones willing to render the most mis-information. Now, it could be that the problem centers around a person's desire to be faithful to scripture and to not make a mistake. But being faithful without any understanding or knowledge or spiritual advice is just plain old scriptural negligence!

Romans 10:1-4 ~ "1-Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2-For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3-For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4-For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth."

When Paul was speaking of those who thought that the righteousness of God could be found by observance of the law and along side the acceptance of Jesus, he accounted that they, his Jewish brethren, certainly had a zeal for God, and seemingly wanted to do right by God, but really didn't have the knowledge of God that it takes to be successful. Where most miss it is that the "knowledge" to which Paul was referencing did not begin in books or systems of educational acumen. The "knowledge" to which Paul was referencing was about the person of Jesus and involved specifically knowing who God was in Christ Jesus, and further knowing Jesus in the fellowship of his suffering and the power of his resurrection.

Phil 3:10 ~ That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 

"Knowing Christ" is the only thing that causes one to submit to what Christ has established as opposed to what one "thinks" that is acceptable based ones misunderstanding or misinterpretations of scripture or the misinterpretations of others. This is from where the problem seems to stem...those who "think" they have been enlightened by some system of men's enlightenment, who begin to share what what they believe  even promoting misinterpretations devoid of any sense of what Christ actually did. Then, a scripture or two, twisted to ungodly proportions, are often worse than a loaded double barrel sawed off shotgun at close range...just used to create a much larger mess!

I would like to focus on one of those areas where men and the doctrines of men have created such a mess:

Women In The Ministry

One such topic that has been filled with much confusion for ages is the topic of women in the ministry. My church The Church Of God In Christ, has basically refused to undertake the issue and make a formal statement accepting the ordination and public recognition of women as pastors and leaders. Now there are many reasons that a person cannot and will not accept a woman in the ministry. For some it's a matter of personal preference, for others it's a matter of what they have been taught over the years. What I would like to point to in this writing is those who restrict what God is doing in the life of women in the ministry by simply declaring that God hasn't called women to preach, teach or to leadership under any circumstance within the church. For them (and they don't like the comparison) the church is simply a glorified boys or men's only club whereby sexism and "glass ceilings" are scripturally justified based on a selctive and non-contextual use of scripture. In these circles, women are told primarily that they should just be happy that they are saved and sit down and be quiet...,"cause the BIBLE told you so!"...The problem is that the bible has said many things and taking those things out of the context of which they are intended ceates a mess, restrictions and ultimately another gospel that WAS NOT instituted nor ordained by God in any manner.

Here are the two scriptures primarily in question as it pertains to women in ministry:

 1 Tim 2:11-15 ~ . 11-Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12-But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13-For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14-And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 15-Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.  

1 Cor. 14:34 ~ 34-Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. 35-And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

The part that has been used to make a whole and complete doctrine to the church universal is 1 Tim. 2:12a as highlighted above. Now, the story goes like this:

Because Eve was deceived and Adam sinned by following the woman he was in the role of relinquishing his power and leadership authority. The woman's subjection to the man was a part of the curse (Gen. 3:16)  Therefore, Christ dies to establish the order of things, displaying himself as the bridegroom (male figure) of the church (female figure) setting it in order establishing it as the MAN being the head of the woman and ultimately as the spiritual head and authority within the church.  Therefore, because Eve was deceived and Adam was out of his place, the proper place for the MAN after restoration is to be the one to instruct the woman and the woman should not try to instruct or lead the man in any way as it pertains to spirituality or instruction of the Lord. And by the way, men and women are only ONE and EQUALS as it pertain to issues of receiving the benefits salvation, but she (a woman) should NEVER attempt to lead a man spiritually in any way because God does not consider the woman qualified or equal in so doing.  

What's Wrong With This Picture?

Certainly there is some truth to the statement in general. Eve was deceived as Paul notes and Adam was out of place found in disobedience to God. Christ has certainly come to restore all things and set things in order and establish the role of men and women in the home and within society. However, this, when used improperly, is about the most SEXIST admonition ever encountered because if it is not applied with the idea that submission within marriage is FIRST to God and secondly to one another, (Ephes. 5:21) then one will miss the whole point of what Christ actually commands. Secondly, it's the creation of a whole and complete doctrine built upon a context which was not intended for a universal doctrine to be created. unfortunately, there is some obscurity and an incomplete understanding of what Paul was saying and referring to. I'll get to that in a minute.

Hip-Hop, Idolatry & The Church Pt. 16 ~ Scientology & 21st Century Whipped Hair

In the post Hip Hop, Idolatry & The Church Pt. 11 I presented the examination of many of the open but yet secret symbols associated within modern hip-hop and rap music.

In my opinion God is revealing the extensiveness of the enemy's plan by raising a generation of people who will be and become "symbol literate", interpreting the true messages behind much of the music and entertainment that we see and observe everyday.

When the music and videos of Willow Smith is examined, some very powerful information is exposed and some strong symbolism is presented. However, in order to get a full understanding of this and Willow, we must first look at at least some of the major influences in her life beginning with her Mom and more specifically her Dad, educator, actor, philanthropist and hip-hop music mogul and rapper Will Smith.

What Is The Foundation?

First, Will and Jada Smith have been at the center of a controversial school curriculum for a number of years. In 2009, after homeschooling their two children, Jayden and Willow, the Smiths opened a school called the New Village Leadership Academy (NVLA). ABCNews.com reports that NVLA is a private elementary school in Calabasas, Calif., said to have an annual tuition of up to $12,500 annually per student. The controversy however, centers around the school's teaching methodology. The methodology is called "Study Technology" which is a teaching method developed by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.. Now the Smiths vehemently deny any connection with the promotion of Scientology through their educational system.

Is There Room For False Prophecy or "Inaccuracy" Among Modern Day Prophets?

Deut. 18:18-22 ~ 18-I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. 19-And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. 20-But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. 21-And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? 22-When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him."

Known all around the country as Prophet Brian Carn, Brian Carn has taken the evangelism circuit by storm. On almost any website you will find that this "prophet" as he believes himself to be called, is said to not only be a true man of God, but also deliver what are called "prophetic utterances" with complete accuracy.

Now, be clear, the purpose of this post is not to impugn the character of Prophet Carn. By all accounts he is a godly and saved man and THANK GOD

Juanita II Delivers "Tongues" For Facebook?

Let me first state this unequivocally...I have received the gift of the baptism of the Holy Ghost which is an experience subsequent to salvation, and I DO speak in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and that with confidence according to scripture which states:

1 Cor. 14:2 ~ For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

I also understand that speaking in tongues is a present day gift of the Spirit of God delivered unto men for edification of both the individual and the church so that the will of God can be accomplished in this space and time continuum. 

So neither "tongues"  nor the "gift of tongues" are not in question as I believe ample biblical evidence can be delivered to support such practice and use of it in and among the congregation of the Saints both with and without an interpretation. 

HOWEVER, with all of that said...what can't be supported is what Juanita II is doing. Having graduated from the $5,000 pen, and a wedding dress with a sword on her 50th birthday, in yet another saga and amazing chapter of the unbelievable mega- ministry mess that Juanita has become, Juanita Bynum II has struck once again to embarrass and bring shame to all Pentecostal believers.

Did The Real Tims Stand Up Before His Death?

Over the weeks since the death of Dr. Zachery Tims, one thing has become crystal clear, Zachery Tims had a historic struggle with addiction in the form of drugs, sexuality and lifestyle. He also a current and very real struggle that ultimately effected not only his life, but also his ministry. What is also clear is that many of not most of his most close associates did not provide an intervention or review of the most important issues, bringing their friend to accountability.

"I don't know what happened in that room in New York,...but I can only hope that as Zach was dying, Dr. Tims stood up." ~ Bishop T. D. Jakes

Please be clear, noone can make an individual do anything right or wrong. Individuals have an opportunity to choose their own path by which they live and make decisions. Ultimately, Zachery chose his own path and paid the price that comes along with it. I'm not surprised that individuals can hold secrets and those secrets can get by even the most close friends and associates. However, I am very surprised when I hear that individuals knew about the secrets well before the secret was exposed to the general public. In those cases, I wonder what did the individuals that knew the "secret" do, if anything, to eliminate the secret or the problems at hand? 

With all of that said, aside from the "powdery white substance" found in his pocket, nothing has arisen the speculations more than the commentary of Tims' eulogist, Bishop T. D. Jakes.  Jakes Not only describes two persons, a "Dr. Tims" and a "Zach",  but he also clearly admits that he knew Tims had a problem. During the course of his admission he opens up that it (the problem) was a very large and serious one:

"I thought I was the only one who know how unhappy Zach was, how broken he was, how afraid he was if anybody was to see any flaw in him. He tried hard to heal himself, to fix himself," ~ Bishop T. D. Jakes

Not only did Jakes see two different people or persons within this man, it would seem that he also admitted that Zachery's problems were well known to himself, but were hidden, as far as he knew, from others. Jakes described the man as not simply having a problem, but a man "broken" and one that tried to "hide" as well as "heal" himself.  What Jakes describes are the signs, acts and behaviors of a person suffering from addiction and possible mental illness. 

What I am confident of from Jakes description is that a stage of addiction is shame and covering up the shame of addiction provides an intimate personal reflection. From one who is addicted, it is usually described in the following manner:

"They won't like me if they really knew me" or "I must keep this to myself, because if someone else knows, they will not like me"

In a message entitled, "We Must Keep The Covenant Of The Fathers" Bishop Wells not only delivered a solid and biblically profound exegesis of the Covenant that God established with Abraham and his seed, and ultimately with all believers through Jesus Christ, but he also took time to examine the covenental styled relationship which was delivered to the Church Of God In Christ Inc.by it's founder, the late Bishop Charles Harrison Mason, encouraging us not to forget what has been set before us as a church and what we are to do with it.

"As the Chief Apostle, he (Bishop C.H. Mason) immediately dedicated twenty days, November 25th through December 14th annually as a meeting time for all the followers to fellowship with each other and to transact all ecclesiastical and secular affairs pertinent to the growth of the National Organization. This segment of the year was chosen because the majority of the communicants of the church lived in farming districts of Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas. By this time of the year, they had sufficient provisions and financial resources from the harvesting of their crops, to enable them to attend and support a national meeting"  [1973 Official COGIC Manual Reprinted 1991]

Under the original application of the vision of the church, Convocation was to be held at least annually in Memphis, TN. under certain dates and times as specified in the prior statement. This time was dedicated to the Lord and the people were dedicated to the Lord's use. In part, as the statement notes, there was a consideration given to the constituency and makeup of the members of the church in general as to the ultimate location and time of the Convocation. So there was an element of meeting the "natural" need of the people, but there was a greater element of obeying and following the will of God for our church on a corporate basis and level. 

The concept was that there would be a specific place date and time dedicated to the Lord's service according to the concept of "Holy Convocation" found within scripture and the basis of that Convocation was the requirement of the Lord upon HIS people.

Zachery Tims..."W" Can Mean Many Things

Dead at age 42, Zachery Tims Jr. was one of the modern churches most prolific personalities. He wrote a book (selling roughly 23,000 copies) which was geared toward teaching people how to be spiritually free and wealthy.  He himself was financially well off. In fact according to divorce papers  filed by ex-wife Riva Tims, Zachery once earned about $33,400 a month in 2009, owned a $2.2 million Windermere home, spent $1,500 a month on clothing, had $437,300 in the bank, and drove both a 2004 Hummer and a 2008 BMW.  He was gracious enough to support the church with a $3,500 a month tithe too.

He was and international minister and regular guest host on TBN sharing his vision of God to potentially over 100 Million homes worldwide almost daily. He was the founder and pastor of the 8,000 member New Destiny Christian Center church in Apopka, Fl. that engaged regularly in such ministries as

"food, clothing, personal toiletries, haircuts, medical screening, and a job fair, and toys for children at Christmas,"

Not to mention a full schedule of services designed to mesmerize and inspire.

Without a doubt, there were and will continue to be many good things that will be said about Pastor Tims. There was so much ministry to yet be accomplished and so much life yet to live. On the surface the horizon seemed bright and the potential was yet undiscovered. On the surface, at least for many.

The Last Testimony

In life we write our own eulogy. TO deny and turn our heads to certain aspects of our being and life's decisions is to deny the person and individual that we choose to be and reconstruct a person that suits one own selfish needs. It is amazing that this is the plight and direction of the Christian community and especially its leaders. For example, look at Creflo Dollar stating that Eddie Long was his "friend" and that friendship was greater than the "wreck" he had. Remember that "wreck" that cost $15 to $25 Million  to settle that had over 400 counts against Long and his assorted ministries??? "Friend". Then we remember Paula White stating that she and Randy were simply at an impasse and ready for a new "season" which included walking away from their marriage announcing this at a weekly bible study as if, it was a nothing to worry about...Then there was the infamous Swilley who simply stated that he had become a homosexual while pastoring and that the church was better because of it.

Well the Christian leaders have shown up again to make lemonade out of what is otherwise a big fat sour lemon. The death of a pastor who left his wife and 4 kids (one with Cerebral Palsy) to pursue sex with a stripper (possibly two) and who was found dead in a hotel with a "powdery substance" in his pant pocket last Friday August 12th morning.

Quite naturally this leads to a few questions:

The Nation Of Islam Embraces Scientology Practice

In what has to be one of the most strange, but expected events that I've witnessed in quite a while from an otherwise predictable religious leader, Minister Louis Farrakhan, the head of the Nation Of Islam, embraced a practice introduced and developed by the late church of Scientology cult founder L. Ron Hubbard called "Auditing".

Not only did Minister Farrakhan endorse the benefits of the practice to the ACLC membership, which are by far and large Christian ministers that have been seduced by the apostasy of ecumenism through the vision of Sun Myung Moon and the ACLC, but he also revealed that he has committed the Nation Of Islam's (NOI's) leadership and membership to the practice by the droves. The following are Minister Farrakhan's sentiments on the subject:

"If you trust me, I will never knowingly mislead any human being, but I want to share this with you, and I want the leaders first, just to see it, maybe we'll come back in a week or two and I'll share with you or let you see a video of how this is done. And when you see it, just look at it, think about it, and then look inside yourself, and your church. Because there are people in your church, if they get this technology, they can turn right around in the church, and begin helping to relieve members of the church of some of the grief and sorrow over death and...things that happen in life as a natural consequence of living. ...."and if you will experience it...we had the largest auditing session of over 2000 people. We took a whole hotel, a ballroom, several of 'em, and to see people, being relieved...One child was 8 years old, and he had this technology, and he was talking to a woman, 86 and bringing out her burdens, and helping her to deal with it." ~ Minister Louis Farrakhan ACLC Prayer Breakfast 5/17/2011

In this statement the Minister not only encourages ALL clergy to obtain and use this practice, he tells how he has already taken over 2000 NOI adherents and leaders through the auditing process in order to provide personal mental and emotional healing. In fact one of his Ministers from Atlanta (Minister Oliver) who is over the southern region of NOI Mosques, seems to use this process like a pain pain pill to instantly  provide healing of emotional scars and certain trauma that he believes others are dealing with in the moment.  

This is a DREAM come true for the Non-Christian CULT of Scientology, who's founder is responsible for the development and presentation of this ungodly, unbiblical and horrible practice. What L. Ron Hubbard

The ACLC Redefining "Love" To Suit The New Apostasy

Ecumenism has long been a part of the landscape among Christian churches and non-christian organizations. This is an effort to rally around certain issues that will ultimately be beneficial to the community in which these ministries are a part of.

Ecumenism can be good. It is good to work together on projects that effect the well-being of the community and individuals living within the community and the world. However, ecumenism at its heart is the effort to rally around truth. The problem is that it can go terribly wrong when non-biblical and even anti-Christ sentiments are introduced, mixed and combined with Christian dogmas and thoughts under the guise of "love, compassion" "tolerance" and "understanding". Thus the trap of ecumenism is revealed. Tolerance is extolled at the expense of truth.  Gospel truth is always minimized as simply being "another path" to reach the overall objective of the so called movement. Terms are redefined to fit the need of a fruitful understanding to all individuals. Therefore, many ecumenical gatherings quickly dissolve into cultic styled movements, with no true underlying objective truth along with an overt emphasis placed on humanistic definitions of love and acceptance. Soon, those that don't agree are hailed as being intolerant or unloving. The need to compromise truth was never so clear than at the recent gathering of the Midwest ACLC (American Clergy Leadership Conference) 2011 Prayer Breakfast in Chicago, IL. on May 17th, when Minister Louis Farrakhan was called upon to address the group as he does on an almost annual basis. (2010 and 2008)

Before we get into some of the more controversial encouragements of Minister Farrakhan (which I have decided to table until Pt. 2 of this article is presented ~ stay tuned it was truly amazing!), I want to briefly take a look at the purpose of the ACLC, and most specifically examine some of the foundational teachings and beliefs of it's chief founder. From what I can see, those two things will allow us to see the real intent of the ACLC and the resultant damage that we can expect from it.
