The Spiritual Blindness Of Abortion

"Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind.
And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.”
~ Mt. 15:14

Retired Bishop Paul S. Morton recently tweeted the following regarding the newly ratified TX abortion law:

The full TEXT of the new Texas abortion law can be found HERE

For sure, abortion is THE watershed issue of modern times. Debate regarding abortion and abortion rights are full of issues over freedom and individualism of adults, but it seems that too many of those arguments fall short of outlining the rights of the unborn. That is, in part, because some wish to claim confusion over when a life is actually a life and when that life actually has a right to live.

Abortion has effected the American landscape and society to the tune of an estimated 50 million abortions since 1973 and the SCOTUS decision of Roe v Wade. While abortion in the United States has certainly been horrible and often misinterpreted, other nations, such as China, have done no better and in many cases much worse of the issue of protecting the most vulnerable human beings.  According to a recent report from Al-Jazeera over the last 40 years, forced abortion has led to 336 million abortions or child deaths in China. Currently there are 30 million more Chinese men than women which has caused the government to reassess their child family limitation policy through the combining of its National Population and Family Planning Commission.

The Dunamis Word's View

At the Dunamis word, we are certainly PRO LIFE! From the moment of conception we believe that all human life is honored by God!
Our views on abortion can be found HERE in multiple articles. We believe that a baby in the womb, is a PERSON which has a right to LIFE and should be protected throughout the birth process because God is the ONLY creator of life, and as humans, we have been made and created in his image fearfully. In God's call to Jeremiah (Jer. 1:5) God stated that he knew him "before" he was formed. This superceeds the condition of what science has now identified as a "zygote" (a fertilized unattached cell). Therefore we believe that God is the ONLY giver of life and we therefore acknowledge life at conception.

Some Points Of The Texas Law

Aside from this, The TX law partially hinges upon a heartbeat of a fetus which usually occurs, according to most analysis, between 5 to 8 weeks after gestation. In Section 171.205 of the law, a Medical Emergency provision exists, which allows for abortion in the event of a medical emergency that threatens the life of the Mother.  However, under Section 171.204 of the law the following is stated:
b) A physician does not violate this section if the physician performed a test for a fetal heartbeat as required by Section 171.203 and did not detect a fetal heartbeat.
In other words, it seems that under TX law in certain circumstances, if there is no discernible pregnancy and until pregnancy is detected, procedures that would successfully rid a woman's body of an unwanted pregnancy would be allowed. We are CERTAINLY not attorneys and this point will certainly be challenged but since hearts don't beat from day one, it doesn't appear that this abortion ban is a full on abortion ban. As stated, we don't endorse termination of pregnancy at ANY time, but the law is what it is so far as the law is concerned.

The Bishop's Blindness Matches Secular Blindness

Like all too many claiming to have spiritual insight, Bishop Morton is blinded as to the nature of abortion when it comes to life and rights of the unborn.
Pointing out the alleged flaws of the TX law, Bishop Morton complains that the law, penalizes women who become pregnant as a result of rape or incest, by not allowing abortion. For the critic, this may sound reasonable as we will discuss, however noone wants the pain of rape or incest exacerbated. However, the Bishop has forgotten that although a rapist may rape and a family member may commit incest (which is another form of rape in our opinion), only GOD can give life.

The secular world claims that this is an issue which cannot be forgotten or forgiven and that pro-life proponents are unfeeling and unkind because, for some reason, they wish to believe that most abortions are due to rape and incest.

A Word Regarding Rape
Nothing in this article should be construed as downplaying rape. Rape and abortion are two different horrible acts and a rapist is never justified in any manner. Unfortunately rape occurs. According to the US DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, OFFICE OF JUSTICE PROGRAMS report it is estimated that 302,091 women and 92,748 men are raped annually. They also estimate that 32% of women who are raped are raped between the ages of 12 and 17 and only about 1/3rd of women who suffer violent rape ever seek help or treatment. So rape is an issue and a very serious one that we can address in another article, but by far and large, women seeking abortions as a result of rape are few on a comparative scale.

The Abortion Rape/Incest Myth Exposed. Facts To The Rescue

Interestingly both Bishop Morton and the secular critic are pointing towards the same thing. An extremely small amount of annual abortions for which stats are kept "sometimes". You see, if figures are accurate, abortions as a result of rape and incest represent only 1.5% of abortions annually according to most statistics on the subject.

In our article ABORTION ISSUES & MYTHS, I point out the following:

To the heart of this post and as not to add additional confusion to the fiasco that we are witnessing, it is interesting to note that only 1% of women in the 2004 survey-based U.S. study became pregnant as a result of rape and 0.5% as a result of incest. These statistics are according to Finer, Lawrence B., Frohwirth, Lori F., Dauphinee, Lindsay A., Singh, Shusheela, & Moore, Ann M. (2005). Reasons U.S. women have abortions: quantative and qualitative perspectives. Perspectives on Sexual and Reproductive Health, 37 (3), 110-8. Retrieved 2006-01-18. This information offers startling insight into the myth that a high representative amount of abortions are due to rape or incest therefore condoning abortion.

To place this in perspective, of the estimated 50,000,000 abortions that have occurred since 1973 only 1.5% were due primarily to rape or incest. This would bring the figure to approximately 750,000 abortions in which the killing of a fetus was decided based on morally subjective terms. As it relates to the black community, assuming the same 1.5% rate of rape and incest, (which may be more or less) the numbers would shrink from 13,000,000 since abortion legalization in 1973 to 195,000. The average number of abortions per day would go from it's current level of 1,450 to approximately 22 per day.

A website called Abort73.com examines the state of Florida, which just happens to keep statistics in a more diligent manner. Figures state that in 2018 Florida recorded 70,083 total abortions. Out of that, only .14% were due to rape. Although this is very serious, it only represents about 98 abortions.

So Bishop Morton and abortion law critics are bringing somewhat of a mythical argument to the forefront as if most abortions are due to rape and incest, when solid evidence exists to the contrary. It is clearly a fallacious argument to ENDORSE abortion, as the Bishop is doing whether he believes that he is doing so or not, based on the abortion rape/incest myth.

Conclusion

I would first agree with the Bishop that rape and incest are serious issues and one that deserves our concern, intervention and prayers. However, I would ask the Bishop, who can be fed if they are killed in the womb? Who can be clothed, if they are murdered before they begin life? Why is the voice of the unborn stymied, and their right to life ignored and overlooked? Is that at all "Christlike"? Would JESUS deny a baby born of rape and or incest their right of life? What has the baby done to deserve death? How and why are the INNOCENT, punished for the sins (rapist) of an abuser or criminal?

I question whether this Bishop's sentiments are at all Christlike in any manner when the complete picture is considered. How can scripture be quoted, while simultaneously sacrificing children at the alter of Molech? Rape is certainly wrong, but how does murder of the innocent make it any better?

This leads me to the conclusion that THIS CHURCH, or this SO CALLED church, has not learned the lesson that covid came to teach it. If we are not valuing EVERY life and seeking to protect the most innocent in a unified fashion, I am not convinced in any manner whether we even know the message of Christ.

I often used to wonder why Christ said:

"And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." ~ Mt. 7:23

Listening to people who butcher scripture such as this, I know why. To "never know" someone is to not identify them in nature and or demeanor and or agree with them in any manner. Yes we know the woman and man who suffers sexual abuse, rape and incest must be ministered to and healed, but how can we help through and by recommending murder in its place?

This is not merely a matter of a "flaw" or a "fault". This is a total about face from who the person of Christ is. You mean to tell me, that people can preach HIS name and not IDENTIFY with Christ so much and so until Christ says, "I don't know you!"?

After feeding the poor, sacrificing ones body and whole self for HIS cause, it is possible that HE does not know "you". I am convinced that as a minister, if you don't know or care about the quintessential issue of baby murder and further gravitate towards the world in the misrepresentation of facts such as Bishop Morton, CHRIST doesn't know you! How can he? There is no IDENTITY of HIM in your beliefs as you set them forth.

I am sure, some have been faced with things in this presentation and believe me, I am not one to minimize your struggle or situation. However, I am here to declare that GOD is yet in control of all things and the way that is committed to HIM, though it may be difficult, can be trodden with Christ who is WITH us and IN us as the hope of glory. He can heal and he can fix every broken piece.

Blessed!

The Character Of God Examined Pt. 1

Many biblical critics assert their criticisms as if the world had not begun to "think" until they had an idea.

One of the ideas circulated by the new atheists, which have the same old ideas, claimed to be new, circulated by new or different people, is that God is so full of murderous ways that he cannot possibly be God.

A commentor named "Kellz", who at one time pretended to be R. Kelly on this blog , falls right in line with the new atheist song of "God is not moral" and that "God is a megalomaniac" because when he "they" read scripture all they see is death, destruction, rape of women and murder of innocent adults and children. But is any of that true?

Are The Arguments Persuasive Against God's Character?

Slavery ~
1- Beat your servant just don't kill him (Exodus 21:20-21)
2- Perpetual servanthood breaking up family Exodus 21:2-6

Rape ~
1- Women taken in battle: Deut 20:10 & 21:10 (are they only sexual objects?)
2- Deut 22, raped woman must marry the man, (is this actually a restoration of power and authority?)
3- Judges 21 (the critic claims this is the repeated rape of women)

Child Murder ~
1- Jepthah, & Judges 11:29-40
2- Midianite boys were killed while girls were kept alive (to be raped) [Numbers 31]
3- God kills the man that would not strike the prophet, (1 Kings 20:35-36)
4- The Kids "Bald Head" joke. was this mere innocence condemned by killing youth?

In tranquility: "dash the children against the stones" Psalms 137:9 (Was this a prophetic look at how the enemies of Israel would feel about killing Israel in God's judgement against Israel or an incitement to evil?)

Let's take a look at these and other more popular criticisms and handle them. At the end of the day what we will see is a loving and all wise God who is not only love and mercy, but also justice, judgement and truth.

Michigan State & Sexual Abuse...Inexcusable!

From I Am My Brother Keeper Christian Advocacy Council on Facebook:

Noone has anything against Tom Izzo or Mike Dantonio.  They are great coaches and probably human beings...HOWEVER, Izzo can't take the position that all his focus and concern is now on "the victims" of Michigan State' Larry Nassar probe when he had at least 3 players who were said to have raped and even beat a woman (women) and at least 2 of them that ADMIT that they did it.

Dantonio allegedly had many more players than Izzo, but stood up at a news conference and denied any offences by his players.

So far as Izzo's players, according to what the players ADMITTED, they, had sex with a female student to which she claimed and reported that they threatened her life (rape) and she reported it immediately and Izzo and the now resigned athletic director knew of it and did nothing.

Izzo is pictured here with former player and coach Travis Walton who allegedly beat a woman brutally and sexually assaulted her after their relationship (if any) crossed certain lines.

Walton of course denies all complaints saying that he was never "charged" with sexual assault and that he had a consensual relationship with the accuser.

Once again, all this happened under Izzo. Of course Izzo was not responsible, but he did NOTHING for victims then...

So WHY NOW? Why claim that silence is to benefit and in honor of the victims, when there has been nothing but silence towards the perpetrators of the crime?

Mike Dantonio is the same. A score of Michigan State players allegedly abused and gang-raped women on campus. Yes, GANG-RAPED! They were never suspended, scholarships never rescinded, and they continued on while their victims lives were altered and changed. In one case a young lady KILLED HERSELF, committed suicide because of the stigma, shame and maltreatment from the University.

This is SHAMEFUL and DEPLORABLE behavior and I cannot believe that there is any concern for victims when the criminals and alleged assailants were NEVER dealt with, suspended, handled or corrected.

This is the problem I have with Michigan St. For people to claim that they are so concerned about victims, there was NO concern when the victims were allegedly being crated by their players and those who were in their circles.

SHAMEFUL!!!!

RADIO SPECIAL: Sexual Abuse, Harassment, The Church & The Hefner Legacy

My thoughts on the issues are quite unambiguous! Thank you!!!

Hugh Hefner...what you may not know and what NO MAJOR NETWORK said of him even in his death:
Hefner's crimes and perversions were actually written and documented in several books

In the book "Down The Rabbit Hole" by Holly Madison a former girlfriend of Hefner:
"Would you like a Quaalude?' Hef asked, leaning toward me with a bunch of large horse pills in his hands, held together by a crumpled tissue... 'Okay, that's good,' [Hef] said, nonchalantly. 'Usually, I don't approve of drugs, but you know, in the '70s they used to call these pills thigh openers.'"
 Then others he abused includes:

Chloe Goins ~ One of the Cosby accusers too, but she ALSO said that Hefner was a CO-CONSPIRATOR in her abuse. Why was Hefner not prosecuted?

Linda Lovelace in ~her 1980 book, "Ordeal" wrote Hefner pimped her out , sodomized her and made her attempt to have sex with a DOG...

In 1985, two former Playmates—Miki Garcia and Brenda MacKillop—testified to the Meese Commission on Pornography (at a Federal hearing) on a number of disturbing things that accorded in the Playboy Mansion, including women who were pressured into taking illegal drugs and engaging in orgies with Hefner and his associates. Garcia also said that after she left she was told by yet other models about rapes, mental and physical abuse, attempted murder, drug addiction, attempted suicide and prostitution,"

Dorothy Stratton...NOW DEAD...as about by her former lover was written Peter Bogdanovich published the book The Killing of the Unicorn, reported that Hefner raped (which was redacted by the publisher) her the first night she was there and abused her more and more, and that life in the Playboy dominion was fearful and exploitative for Stratten, Bogdanovich says, to the point that she married an abusive man for protection. Her husband shot Stratten to death, then himself, in 1980. Hefner would later go on to accuse her.

Now is ANY of this worthy of being hailed and praised as some great American icon? Yet, many of you do!

Blessed

President Obama, This One's On YOU!

In Sept. 2014, President Obama, VP Joe Biden and others, moved to call the nation to action and greater accountability and to "protect" women on college campuses all across America through the new "It's On Us" initiative to address incidents of rape, sexual abuse and violence against women which continues to occur at many of our institutions of higher learning. At one point the President uttered these words:
"It is on all of us to reject the quiet tolerance of sexual assault and to refuse to accept what’s unacceptable."~ President Barack Obama 9/2014
What a difference less than 2 years makes...

Initiated by advocates of the gay lobby, with the Office Of The President as its champion, and relative human morality as its spongy backbone, Congress is now circulating HR 3185 known as the "Equality Act" which will amend the 1964 Civil Rights Legislation in the following manner:
"{The Act} Amends the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to include sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity among the prohibited categories of discrimination or segregation in places of public accommodation."
New Civil Rights Based On Feelings & Emotives:

Gender Identity ~ The new civil right!

Please pay careful attention:

Under the proposed amendment, the term "sexual orientation" is defined as "homosexuality, heterosexuality, or bisexuality;"

In addition, the term "gender identity" is defined as "gender-related identity, appearance, mannerisms, or characteristics, regardless of the individual's designated sex at birth"

So what we have here is The Civil Rights Act on 1964, which served to lawfully liberate Black men and women, who historically endured the moral evil of chattel slavery, liberating them from the oppression of unequal treatment and access based on race, which is an unchangeable and undeniable characteristic of every individual on earth, [which cannot be hidden under most normal circumstances] to now be amended to include an individual's sexual proclivities, or how someone has sex, loves and or presents themselves by appearance to the world with NO CONSIDERATION for their gender or genetics at birth. eg: The new proposed, amended civil right is based on how a person "feels" about who they are in an intangible sense, regardless of who they are in an empirically verifiable or genetic sense.

At one time, I remember that this President claimed to be the President of "science", or one who was not willing to live in a world that denied empirical evidence. In fact this is his mantra when it comes to global warming and climate change. However, in the case of gender and gender relations, neither our scientific President, nor his administration is willing to accept even the most basic science that a man, born a man, (same for a woman) is born that way because of chromosomal and genetic makeup and usually has a physical identity which cannot be denied. I find that very interesting that our President can be so dedicated to science when it comes to weather and weather patterns, but so deliberately blind when it comes to genetics and physical evidence...

Back to the issue:

The Bathroom & Locker Room:

Read the LETTER that was sent to School Districts across the country

Last Friday, May 13th, 2016 along with the above referenced letter, President Obama directed the Dept. Of Education to issue "guidelines" or what were called "Emerging Practices" as to how to keep transsexuals (genetically born men or women, who choose to live as the opposite sex) from being discriminated against during the process of public education. This "encouragement" stems from recent demands from the Administration to force college administrators into allowing transgender men access to female bathrooms and locker rooms under the threat of loosing federal aid and monetary assistance by claiming that failing to deny transsexuals access to the bathrooms and locker rooms of their choice is a violation of Title IX and therefore would be discrimination under the law.

For those who don't know, Title IX was implemented to improve opportunities for women in higher education sports activities by mandating equality in access and opportunity on college campuses. This allowed women to flourish with as much support in their chosen activity and sport as men. Part of Title IX demanded, as a natural outgrowth of the Act, that women would be protected by having access to a bathroom and locker room facilities similar to men, but designed exclusively for women.

That idea was safe. It made sense, and protected our daughters, sisters and mothers on college campus...

Now, the Obama Administration is attempting to bully the same college campuses and institutions of public education, that he claimed that he wanted to "PROTECT", into allowing men, BORN BY GENDER, into women's restrooms and locker rooms, not only on campus, but all over the United States. In these instances, all a MAN has to do is "FEEL LIKE" he is a woman, or feel that he "identifies" as a woman. There is NO PROOF or STANDARD by which a MAN, any man, can be denied access to a woman's restroom or ladies locker room. In other words, the Obama Administration would be reversing any and all protections that Title IX afforded women under the Act. It would be a total reversion of any policy designed to make women safe and protected either on college campus or in a public setting.

In this video, you will hear women, and a transsexual standing to affirm that what the Obama Administration is attempting to do is not what the country needs, is not and should not be a civil right and will do just the thing that none of us want, place our Daughters, Mothers and Sister in danger.

This is serious food for thought for anyone in a position to endorse transsexual rights or any rights that would allow men into woman's restrooms or vice-versa. We claim that it is immoral and unconscionable to even consider such acceptance.

Blessed!

In Contrast to what is recorded by women in the video and to proposed plans in Washington, this is President Obama's It's On Us" Initiative Address:
