"Come Sunday" Pearson & Demonic Lies Exposed

Who Paid Bishop Pearson $100,000 For The Azusa Stage?
Don't forget that article right HERE

Y'u-know, every now and then you see and hear something that seems to be so utterly fantastic, that you just know you are seeing and hearing things...

Now, I already knew that Carlton Pearson, the former leader of the "New" Azusa, was off base and deceived by demons, claiming to have received a "revelation from God" that one does not necessarily need Jesus to be saved, and that ALL men would be saved in the end without judgment and that there is no hell.

Well, obviously Pearson, through Netflix has decided to go all the way with that message once again and has since stirred much controversy, both with the accuracy of the account and the substance of the account as well.

Now, to be honest, there are many modern day heretics and apostates that hold various forms and variations of that same type of belief, such as former pastor Rob Bell who, since claiming that there is no hell, now also claims that the bible, though powerful, is an amalgamation of man made and man centered stories etc. Read his answers to questions such as inspiration and infallibility HERE.

However, what makes Pearson different, is that he somehow expects that everyone should accept his

belief because he claims to be right and the bible, and those of us who have interpreted the bible message to the contrary, are just simply wrong.

The scripture however is clear regarding Carton's false belief:

Gal. 1:8 ~ But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Carlton, Bell and others like them, are to be rejected by the church that is centered in Christ, because they have rejected the truth and established another path of salvation that is incompatible with what scripture teaches.

Well, the ultra critic says, "Carlton is not preaching another gospel because the gospel is the birth, life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus."...To that critic I simply say you probably LOOK as SILLY as you sound!!!!

By denying the elements of the message of Jesus, which includes hell, ultimate judgment and reconciliation of all things, both for the righteous and upon the unrighteous, is to deny the gospel itself. The gospel is the complete and inclusive (isn't that something?) message of the savior and God's actions and intervention in the world.

God has promised not only blessings upon the faithful but JUDGEMENT, as a righteous equalization and reconciliation of all evil in the world. Not only will the products of sin be dealt with but death and hell will ultimately be cast into the "lake of fire" aka: the second death. (Rev. 20:14)All those that have abused, maimed, killed, and hated God and all that he is to the n'th degree without repentance and faith in Jesus, will suffer hell as well.

I have addressed hell and the eternality of hell, more in depth in these 3 articles both HERE , HERE and HERE. One should read those articles prior to debating the issue.

Come The Pearson Heresy

Carlton Pearson evidently set out to tell his story obviously believing that he could manipulate it and the message he now preaches to draw some and rewrite the narrative of how he actually got where he is...In a recent message at his church the Bishop J Delano Ellis recently addressed the part in the movie where Pearson was called (according to Pearson himself) to tell his new demonic doctrine to a Bishops council in effort to persuade them that they needed to "rethink" the gospel message and what they had been preaching...

Beginning at about the 54 minute mark, Bishop Ellis takes Pearson's movie presentation apart and recounts what actually happened and how Pearson's false teaching was abundantly rebuffed by the Bishops present.

Preacher why is it important to point out a doctrinal dispute when there are so many souls that need to be saved?

What one believes could have an eternal weight of difference in how one lives and conducts themselves in this present world. If a person does not believe that they will give an account for their actions and that is nothing more to existence than the material world, then all evil is justified and right is only something that is contrived of men. In fact, under a purely materialistic paradigm, which I don't believe any men are under even if they profess themselves to be, there is only reward for being self-serving. There is no moral duty to be kind or embrace any value of life where one does not benefit. There is no sacrifice or self sacrifice, because I(the person) become the TOP of the food chain.

Secondly, if Carlton is right, the worst and most atrocious persons that ever lived to display their hatred for humanity are rewarded. Therefore suffering, as difficult as it is to sometimes understand,  completely makes no sense if what he believes is true. Why should not a person kill everyone they know, if ultimately they will be rewarded with heaven in spite of their acts of hate. In his view hatred and love are equal but opposite actions and both are rewarded the same...Who wants to believe that garbage????

So that is why issues such as this, especially considering the source from which these issues arise,  need to be discussed and disputed openly. Because there is a God and he is the ultimate righteous judge and will judge righteously all men need to know clearly that blessings for the righteous and punishments for the unrighteous are a part of God's divine plan.

Sexual Abuse Or Sexual Relationship?

For quite some time now, brewing under the surface of the shouting, dancing, ecstatic preaching and speaking in tongues that Holy Ghost filled believers do in the Church Of God in Christ, were questions regarding the accusations against Auxiliary Bishop James L'Keith Jones of Albuquerque, New Mexico and allegations of sexual abuse and clergy sexual misconduct.
Allegedly, it was Jones who at his then age 29 entered into an illicit relationship (of some kind) with a 15 year old church member Ms. Kimberly Pollard. Supposedly, Jones groomed Ms. Pollard and tainted her mind, sweeping her of her feet, and basically making a sex slave out of her not only at the time, but off and on for the majority of the next 20 years all the while continuing in relationship and fellowship with the church.

Open "Confessions", Ebony Style

Well this is a scandalous day to say the least. it seems that every week something new is being revealed or coming to the surface regarding certain persons and those who you thought were your "greatest" ministry personality. There are numerous reasons for this. first, God ALONE is the only one due worship and allegiance. God is certainly reminding us that all "flesh is as grass" (Isa. 40:6, 1 Pet. 1:24), no one is to be worshiped or exalted but HIM.

With that said, and speaking of "scandal", in a story carried by none other more rigorously than Mr. Obnoxious himself, William G. McCray, it seems that the often worshiped founder of Empowerment Temple, Jamal Bryant, has made an open confession in response to a March 2013 editorial of Ebony Magazine. In the article Ebony set forth an examination of modern day scandals referring to the event which allegedly dissolved Jamal's marriage. Reportedly, Jamal not only committed adultery with a younger member of  his church, he also fathered a child with her. She was later reportedly escorted out of the sanctuary when confronting Jamal about the issue in front of the church.

In a statement (below) the "Alpha Pimp" confesses to "participating" in an affair (what does that mean???) and doing most of the damage, but also claims that Ebony and others are doing even more damage. Well, yes, he did it, and nearly everything else. EXCEPT that, according to him, there were ever any other "minors" involved other than his own children. So that whole incident can be put to rest. (OK...yea, right...)

The Confession

Here's his statement and confession:
For 67 years, Ebony Magazine has been the drum beat for culture in the African American community. John Johnson its beloved founder dedicated his life to safe guarding our image with great integrity.
The March 2013 edition has left a hole in my heart. On page 124 they published that it’s alleged I impregnated a 17-year-old member of my church. This accusation is categorically and completely untrue. To publish this with absolutely no source lends itself to reckless endangerment to my children, my congregation and my community.
Ebony is not the National Enquirer. A higher standard is required and the statement jeopardizes my ministry to the youth in my church and community. So it is on moral grounds that a retraction is necessary.
In 2007 I participated in an extramarital affair that resulted ultimately in the termination of my marriage to my incredible wife Gizelle. NO minors were involved but my minor children have been affected. I don’t want them to have to live through any further unnecessary pain.
Matthew 18:15 say’s if your brother has sinned against you go and tell him his fault. I solicit your continued prayers for my family, forgiveness for myself and accountability from Ebony magazine.
Flawed but faithful. I remain,
Jamal- Harrison Bryant
(A Father and Pastor)

So what Jamal is saying (or not saying) is that all the reports were accurate except for the report of him impregnating a 17 year old member. he also suggests that anyone making inaccurate statements are lending to the hurt and stability of his family and all involved.

Now Isn't That A True Pimp Move?
To try to convince YOU that YOU are the cause of the problem for having and formulating your own opinions based on what he did?

Now, don't get me wrong, there is a whole host of internet conversation on what happened and all of that. I am not in that and never been to Empowerment Temple, am not nor have ever been "blessed" by Bryant's ministry and have not and do not care to meet him personally except that he is willing confess, pray and repent. No one who was there, has ever called or emailed me to share their personal story, and I am not looking for such verification, but I (and we) can look at what he said for himself.

The Real Issue

The problem is NOT forgiveness or the ability to forgive. Neither is the church to blame nor is anyone else looking on as "Mr. Alpha" seems to suggest. The problem is the attitude that anyone else can do more damage to him and his family than he has already done, and the utter lack of accountability, correction and redirection.

Yes, this is tough. It's not easy when sins are dragged out before the world. It's even more tough to realize that you have failed and disgraced God, family, the church and community...but it is down right arrogance that blames those who see and know it for making you feel "uncomfortable" or for telling what they know.

This leads to what the modern minister feels is "good enough" so far as repentance is concerned. For them, anyone "talking" (at least those not saying what they want to hear) is "negative" and is not being godly. The onlookers and the ones who have paid their tithe, and faithfully and diligently served, are at fault when they demand a full accounting and a better standard. These are tricks of the "alpha pimp" trade. under the theme that the "mission" is greater than any sin that one can commit, those seems to expect to simply go on, bypass an accounting for self and sin and blame those that are disturbed by the sins claiming that they are somehow at fault. This type of response is almost as big of, if not even more, of a lie than the original sinful and dastardly acts that led to the incidence.

Now, Jamal claims that those talking are making it difficult for his family, when the truth is that he didn't care about any of that at the time he looked over his congregation and chose an illicit lover. There is absolutely no one that will have a greater concern and care for his children than he does. evidently he didn't care, why and how does he expect Ebony, McCray or anyone else to care?

The problem is not failure. Certainly we have all sinned in one form or another. The problem is the arrogance in dealing with it and blaming others for our sins. It seems that if others don;t tell the story, we will tell it ourselves, because the TRUTH simply must be told. One thing is for sure, the word of God is right:

Luke 12:2-32-For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. 3-Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

May the LORD have mercy on us all as we kneel down, bowing our soul and seeking HIS face!!!!!

Blessed!

Pulpit Whores

1 Samuel 2:22-25 ~ 22-Now Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. 23-And he said unto them, Why do ye such things? for I hear of your evil dealings by all this people. 24-Nay, my sons; for it is no good report that I hear: ye make the LORD'S people to transgress. 25-If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him: but if a man sin against the LORD, who shall intreat for him? Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because the LORD would slay them.

Pulpit Rapist Whore
We Know Who U R
As Christian bloggers we routinely receive information from various individuals. Recently, I met an individual in another internet forum that delivered information stating that she had been raped by one of the nations more visible ministers ie: a widely known "leader". For now, he and his name are unimportant and I won't focus on that. Initially, I didn't believe it nor did I believe her and wasn't too nice. She had to prove her case to get my respect and she did prove it, by certain means that I will also go without noting in this story. Even though I advocate for victims and victims rights, I know that the internet if filled with libelous statements, character bashing and just plain old false representations of people claiming many things about other persons when they get upset for whatever reason. So my "third degree" was not wasted, neither was it misdirected. Trust me on that one.

Unfortunately, in modern times, one can never really know a persons motivations for anything. I mean look at it, I have endeavored to tell  the truth with evidence, and featured various of those that I have called pimps, charlatans and false teachers on this site and in response some of them have lied, trumped up issues and continued to make a mockery of themselves in effort to win the minds of people. Some, from what I've come to understand, don't care one bit about living a holy lifestyle. they never were really saved. They simply use the church and salvation as a means to their materialistic ends. For them all things are about image, image management and making "mo-money". Resistance to exposing charlatans, and confusion over the nature of God's love and justice abounds. Many of the same charlatans are the ones confusing the people how to balance love and justice and it always comes out in their favor. Criticism is leveled many times toward those who would engage the internet, a post modern culture, and a back-slidden Christian church. One can expect to hear almost anything almost anytime.

With all of that said, there are people who have been hurt and simply don't know what to do or who to turn to, so they express their hurts, pains and frustrations the best way they can and to whomever they can. It's for those real victims that I render this article to let them know that they are not alone and that there is help and healing at the end of the day. To all those that have suffered sexual abuse, and who have been the victims of these seducing charlatans whom I have chosen to call  "pulpit whores", (and I use the word "whore", and not "pimp", because what I will describe is nothing less than whoreish) you need to know that you don't have to be a lifetime victim. You can take steps to liberate yourself, with the help of the Lord, and there are plenty of people who will accept and receive you and do their best to help you heal. For the whores, there is redemption also, as we will discover at the end of the article. You too can be free from this bondage that doesn't let you rest at night and that drives you to drugs, drinking and erratic behavior.

Paula White ~ "You betta recognize!"

For the latest adventure in the saga of Paula White go HERE
So said the sheep to the shepherds of the flock:
Evangelist Paula White
"[Bishop] Randy, Pastor Paula, give me a word, marry me, bury me, pay these bills, prophesy. Why aren't you doing this? Why isn't it like it used to be? We don't like the music. We leaving the church because you didn't know our names and you didn't come have lasagna with us,"
Being a world famous evangelist must be really something else. From what I can read and hear from those who are of the class, it's froth will all kinds of problems as Pastor Paula White presented at the 2011 Pastors & Leaders Conference in Orlando, FL, themed “What You Don’t Know CAN Hurt You” hosted by her mentor Bishop T.D. Jakes.

Proclaiming the message "I Got My Bounce Back", Paula took the time to lay out the fact that everything was going well in her life until pressures like pastoring, the government and other challenges to her lifestyle became part of the equation. She summed up the good times like this:

"I'm living heaven on earth. Life cannot get any better."..."I'm above the struggle and beneath the radar. I love my husband and my husband loves me. And we do. The kids are doing good. And millions of dollars in the bank. Not sick,"
From her statements, this was a time when she and her former husband Bishop Randy shared an over $600,000 joint annual income from the work of ministry and lived in an over $2 Million home paid for in part by a tax free church allowance that probably exceeded $100,000 ultimately. (these numbers are probably low) Then after the government began to investigate these expenditures and what certainly appeared to be a lavish lifestyle, she thought this:
"You can handle something if it's for a short season. But how do I praise Him when my days turn into weeks and my weeks turn into months and my months turn into years and my years turn into decades?" she said. "How do I praise Him under that continual pressure? That kind of pressure wears you out."
According to White, all of this led to health problems such as a stroke, a midlife meltdown, compassion fatigue, Rx drug addictions, and "in a really weak moment", divorce from her husband Bishop Randy and a host of other personal issues.  There was even a hint of an extramarital relationship between she and Evangelist Benny Hinn who was caught in holding hands with White in Rome on July 13th 2010. Although White admits that nothing happened as a result of this Hinn also followed up with this in a message delivered on July 30th 2010:
“A friendship did develop,”...“Hear this: No immorality whatsoever. These people out there are making it sound like we had an affair. That’s a lie.” ~ Benny Hinn
Prior to this (Feb. 2010) Pastor Hinn did a special segment on his TV show outlining the divorce from his wife found HERE, of course there could have been no affair, because neither of them were married at the time (supposedly). How did I know that was mere wishful thinking? According to other sources, Hinn WAS married at the time which invoked a Morality Lawsuit by Strang publications. So, under NORMAL circumstances,  what would there have been to be ashamed of? It seems that SIN is the only thing that some people will hide. If this relationship wasn't inspired by sin, then why not display it. These were two otherwise singe people, were they not? However, that's yet another story.

Christian Marriage...I Had To Address Some Issues

Also See: "Marriage & Forgiveness. What That Means For The "Other Woman" (or Man)"
Arguably, the foundation of any society and community is the family. Though modern families come in all kinds of sizes, shapes and component parts, traditionally, the most fundamental element of the family is the marriage between a husband and a wife. In fact, in Western society, the whole social system is built on this type of union.

This is often called the nuclear family, which includes about 2 to 3 children and a pet thrown in to spare. Until recent times this type of union (between a man and a woman) was a standard part of the American culture and a solid part of the American church. However there are all sorts of arrangements marital, non-marital, cross-generational and even cross gender core units that now comprise the basis of "family".
There are many factors that have led to the changing face of the family. To name a few, it can't go without noting that there is a  rapidly growing diversity of social moral values within the American population,  changing demographics, partially promoted by culturally accepted relativism, and an increased post modernistic approach to previously formed social structures.  In addition there are financial pressures, high incarceration rates  in some demographic groups, and increased substance abuse issues which in many cases are a reflection of the lack of self-worth and value. All of this has led to the traditionally oriented nuclear family becoming simply one type among many types of family structures within society.
Marriages. How Stable Is The Foundation?

To our shame, these are the facts of our marital condition:
  • According to Religious Tolerance.Org current research shows that the overall divorce rate peaked around 1980 and appears to have declined modestly since then. Divorce rates per 1,000 marriages were 22.6 in 1980, 20.9 in 1990, and 18.8 in 2000. (1)
  • A recent study by the Barna Research Group throws extreme doubt on these estimates. Barna released the results of their poll about divorce on 1999-DEC-21. 1 They had interviewed 3,854 adults from the 48 contiguous states. The margin of error is ±2 percentage points. The survey found: 11% of the adult population is currently divorced.  25% of adults have had at least one divorce during their lifetime.  Divorce rates among conservative Christians were significantly higher than for other faith groups, and much higher than Atheists and Agnostics (nonbelievers) experience (2)
  • Estimates of the incidence of marital infidelity in the United States range from 20% to 50%. (3)
  • One estimate rated the percentage of all Americans who would have an extramarital affair during their lives as high as 70%! (4)
  • Nearly half of all U.S. marriages are remarriages for at least one of the spouses (5)
  • In a 2001 report, the CDC stated that 1/5 (20%) of first marriages end within five years; 1/3 (33%)within ten years. Second marriages fare even worse. The CDC found "a strong probability that second marriages will end in separation or divorce: 23% after five years and 39% after ten years.”
  • Researcher Donald Hughes states that 90% of divorce among Christians occur AFTER they have been saved. (6)

WOW! Not my Chironna!

As I have often stated on this blog TBN seems to be the meeting place for apostates, heretics, inclusionists, ecumenists and a host of other types of spiritually defunct and sensationalist teachers.

TBN yet has some good programming so one can’t "throw the baby out with the bath water" but the bad programming is especially bad programming. Particularly when it comes the likes of false teachers and mystics like Prophet Mark Chironna.

Mr. Chironna seems to have a spiritual/gothic/quasi-Christian thing going. Black punk attire with rings and dingo boots. Often sending a Bela Lugosi type of chill up one’s spine he presents some of the most strange prophecies and irresponsible rendering of the WORD I have ever seen or heard. I can imagine that he is a learned individual but certainly teaches beneath that ability. He follows in the same line of teachers that I addressed in The New Enlightenment Pt. 1 in that he believes in the metaphysical power of words and also the law of attraction which are both cult and occult concepts. His TV Outreach show is called "Creating Your World" which confirms the assessment of his belief in the ability to manipulate the physical world through the transcendent spiritual powers and the power of words.
I recently witnessed him present a portion of his new series entitled "The Kingdom Of Heaven Is Within You subtitled Unlocking Your Destiny Powers" Now that title is full of problems that could take the rest of this blog to expound on but I’ll be good and get to the point. I’ve never heard so much heretical teachings in one 20 minute segment of teaching.

There are 5 phases to this series (as if one isn’t more than enough). I was entertained and utterly amazed by Phase Part 2 entitled "The Obedience Of Faith" These are some of the more shocking and unbiblical things he unashamedly taught to his Christian audience:

Concerning knowledge and the implementation of it:

"Your intuitions and impressions must lead to a written word then to a spoken word."
Mr. Chironna in this paradigm expresses his belief that intuitions and impressions are the directing forces in our lives and help create and support one’s epistemology (Philosophical process regarding the methods by which one knows something) He suggests that "impressions" and "intuitions" are equivalent to the power of God’s word or at a minimum they offer a conduit by which one can manufacture a direction in one’s life. The scripture says however that "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord" (Ps. 37:23a) and that the Spirit of the Lord would "guide you into all truth" (John 16:13) not that we would be "impressed" or be led by our "intuitions" into all truth.

"The concept is hear it, write it, speak it. This is a metaphysical practice as commonly found as essential to metaphysical worldviews and religions of mind science."

He next introduces the concept of aligning oneself with God and his word. On the surface I say…YEA! We can agree on that. But his conclusions, purpose and outcome are totally unbiblical. He says that when a believer comes into alignment with God in their

"Words,
Ways,
Walk &
Works"

Then they will create a "Field Of Attraction" upon themselves and their lives.

WHAT?

Is that not Eckhart Tolleish? Come on, I really thought at the beginning of the show that we were going to be learning the bible and how to get closer to God. I thought that maybe we were going to launch out into some deep spiritual truth. Instead we were launched into metaphysical reality and a Christianized version of the Universal Law Of Attraction as taught by Rhonda Byrne in The Secret. What a travesty! And THIS supposedly goes out all over the world supported by "Our many TBN Partners"

He then went on into another strange Gnostic tirade on how to receive from God more effectively. He said this in sequence, and remember these are his words:

"Identify energy drainers and replace them with energizers"

OK…Then he just keeps going, and going and going (I couldn’t resist that)

"Declutter your life and align yourself to your higher purpose…build your self esteem."

At this point I’m worried because my desk…well let’s just say, it’s not exactly the place to lay something that you want to find again right away…but I know how to find anything and know where everything is (within 10 minutes) so I guess I’m good. Then he goes on to say this,

"Once these things are done, make your wish list!"

Allrighty then…"make your wish list"…Then what? Well he sums that up as follows:

"Things will fall into place"
"Resources will become available"
"You’ll make connections"

In all of these things what do you notice? I’ll tell you...

God is strangely absent. All of these things are things for you to do with no or little regard for God and no direction to do them because he has said so. Christ is not center. Your intuition, impressions and desires through "wish list" is most important. Is that Christianity? It’s not Pentecostalism no matter how many tongues he speaks and his teachings are certainly not biblical.

God and the bible are merely a means to an end. Since God is not the center, he becomes a way for the flesh and human desire to achieve what it wants without and apart from the direction of God.

Then, as a well calibrated watch, he provides the closing "hook". He explains to the audience how to make all of this work for them in these words,

"There are 21 days in which your life will be changed. As you sow into the impartation of revelation, you receive from it [revelation] It is possible to hear revelation and never grow from it, without sowing into it" This is a give to get scheme by which Mr. Chironna manages to stay in business.

He, Mr. Chironna, drops the bomb that all of what he’s teaching won’t be of any use if the listener doesn’t "sow into it" aka GIVE ME SOME CASH. Also he wants you to know that if you miss the 21 days, it’s not his fault, it’s your fault for not "sowing into the revelation"

My, my, my, Chironna….This is tragic. I was tired and trying to relax and rebuild after a tiring Sunday and saw this. There is truely no rest for the weary.
Blessed!
Question: At what point are these heretical teachers not Christians? Comments Are Welcome
