Do Black Lives Really Matter?

Too Many Aborted.com
In my post, "Black Lives Matter...Most Of The Time", I promoted the movement Black Lives Matter, as it, through and by hundreds of protests all over the country, promotes harmony between the Black and urban communities and local police departments.

More To Black Life Than Police...

Although the goal of the Black Lives Matter movement is focused on the police, economics and community relations, there is another more ominous danger that threatens the survival of Black communities all over this country. That is the threat of abortion. To the tune of an estimated over 1,450 lives per day since 1973, the Black Community aborts and continues to abort its babies with the help of federally funded organizations such as Planned Parenthood, which has never broken ties with the startling racist statements and positions of its founder Margaret Sanger who said that Blacks and the poor were like "human weeds" that "never should have been born".

In fact, when I questioned why the Church Of God In Christ, who certainly proudly associated themselves with the Black Lives Matter movement by joining in Solidarity Sunday, (with myself in tow) would not be more vocal on the subject, my message was PROMPTLY removed from the COGIC Facebook site, but mysteriously it reappeared. If I might repeat what I said:
"Then what of our stance on abortion? Black lives are lost to the tune of some 1450 PER DAY. We endorsed a President who claims a woman has a right of choice over the life. Do BLACK lives really matter to us or is this the next buzzword?"
The Presiding Bishop of The Church Of God In Christ, Bishop Charles E. Blake, unlike many others, stood up at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, CO. in the Wells Fargo Theatre in 2008 and delivered a message questioning the endorsement of abortion, both by the Democratic Party platform and the then "presumed" Democratic National Convention candidate, Sen, Barack Obama. This is what the news recorded:
Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake
"Bishop Charles E. Blake, presiding bishop of the Church of God in Christ, called on presumptive Democratic  nominee, Barack Obama to "follow through on his promise ... to reduce the number of abortions" while stopping just short of criticizing the Democratic Party for its support of the practice.
"Surely we cannot be pleased with ... millions of terminated pregnancies," Blake said to applause from the nearly full Wells Fargo Theater. "Something within us must be calling for a better way. If we do not resist at this point, at what point will we resist?"
Democrats must know about the "moral and spiritual pain so many of us feel because of this disregard for the lives of the unborn," Blake said.
In a speech focusing on society's responsibility to its children, Blake first focused on the plight of the inner-city poor as a human rights responsibility before calling abortion a practice "that conflicts with our position and our responsibility ... to human rights itself."
Although Blake intimated he was frustrated with his party's support of abortion, he praised its positions for the helpless in other ways. "Others loudly proclaim their advocacy for the unborn," he said, receiving a standing ovation, "but they refuse to recognize their responsibility and the responsibility of our nation to those who have been born. "They are presently and historically silent, if not indifferent," he continued, "to the suffering of our inner cities."
I recorded this event on The Dunamis Word in this ARTICLE in 2008 from a now archived edition of the Rocky Mountain News the day after the Convention.

NOW back to our regularly scheduled program:

What Is The Problem?
I think Dr. Alveda King, the daughter of the great late Civil Rights leader, Dr. Martin L. King Jr. summed it up nicely. Let's see what she sad:
Dr. Alveda King
"The liberal media looks the other way on this"...“Pray that people will see right through their propaganda.”... “The media has another agenda; if they really thought that black lives matter they would be protesting abortion on demand.”..."[media] often stirs controversy to boost rating” and “support[s] abortion on demand.”...“This media category ignores the fact that the abortion industry targets minorities,”...
“Even Planned Parenthood tweeted support for Ferguson using the Black Lives Matters hashtags, and yet they abort more black and Hispanic babies that any other abortion provider in America.”~ Dr. Alveda King Daughter of the late Dr. Martin L. King Jr.
BLACK DEATH, HYPOCRISY and a PASSIVE ATTITUDE from society, the church and political community regarding the issue is the problem!

Since 2008, The Dunamis Word has taken on the issue of abortion to bring it front and center alarming the community of the danger and the Black community in particular. Countless babies continue to die through and by abortion. Countless women, mothers of those aborted, continue to die as well at the hands of so called "abortion clinics".  Two of the young ladies who have lost their lives recently due to this sort of "legalized crime" are  Chicago's Tonya Reaves, Cleveland's Lakisha Wilson. Both Black women. Died as a result of failed abortion procedures. Yet we find no demonstrations or protests by any movement, including the Black Lives Matter movement, against these atrocities. The fact is that 4 Black Lives were lost in these 2 events and not a person (other than those who oppose abortion in all forms) protested. The clinics were funded by and large through public funds, similar to the funding of police departments all over the country. Yet not ONE protest! Although Black woman constitute only 14% of the United States population, abortions by Black women account for nearly 30% of the nation's abortions. SOURCE and yet, we DO NOT PROTEST!

The Tale Of A CITY!
A closer look at the most current numbers for NYC abortions, (remember, NYC has generated the most widely held protests against the murder of unarmed Black men by police) display that 77.56% of all abortions are preformed on Either Black or Hispanic women, with Black women, who only make up 25.5% of NYC's population, leading the way with nearly 35,188 aborted that year. That is nearly 46.1% of all babies aborted in NYC at a rate of nearly 96 abortions per day! (Hispanics, 28.6% of NYC population, had 23,959 total lives lost to abortion at a rate of nearly 65 lives per day) The total number of abortions for NYC, 76,251, make it the nations leading city of aborted babies in the United States. Further, New York State has the highest number of abortions overall in the nation totaling 103,339 aborted babies!

NYC "die-in" At Grand Central Station
There is no way that anyone can look at these numbers and not be convinced that this is a epidemic for the Black community of NYC and further something that the whole nation should be hotly concerned about.

Studies also show that Black women are 5 times more likely to abort a child than White women. Condom use doesn't seem to curb the issue either as the and SAME JULY 2014 STUDY shows that over 51% of women who receive abortions used contraceptives in the same month that they became pregnant. In addition, as I have shown in this ARTICLE, the term "medically necessary" is subjective term with no specifically assigned set of values that does not address why and under what circumstances a fetus should be aborted. In addition, numbers show that abortions due to rape and incest only comprise .5% (that is POINT 5 PERCENT) of all abortions since 1973, and those numbers certainly don't seem to be a justification for the soaring numbers that we currently experience (although current numbers say that abortion overall is on a decline- Isn't that special?!?!?!)

Political Inaction, Misdirection and Non-Concern

Bishop Blake's requests and encouragements to now President Obama and the DNC seem to have fallen on deaf ears to say the least. Since his election President, President Obama has gone on record on to say this:
"...every woman should be able to make her own choices about her body and her health...."We reaffirm our steadfast commitment to protecting a woman’s access to safe, affordable health care and her constitutional right to privacy, including the right to reproductive freedom,"..."And we resolve to reduce the number of unintended pregnancies, support maternal and child health, and continue to build safe and healthy communities for all our children. Because this is a country where everyone deserves the same freedom and opportunities to fulfill their dreams."
Although this statement is filled with misdirection of the argument, obfuscation and word casting (almost political code) it is clear that the President's has allegiance to abortion no matter the cost. Noone questions whether a woman should have the right about "her body and her health". This argument is about a BABY'S BODY and that BABY'S right to his/her health. In addition "reproductive freedom" is not the issue, the right of life for the unborn is...babies can have dreams if they are allowed to live. Preventing unwanted pregnancies has NOTHING to do with saving the lives of babies who cannot speak for themselves. With all that said, the DNC went on to exclude God from their political party platform in the last election...go figure!!!!

What Has Our President Done Since His First Election?

Beliefnet has compiled President Obama's Pro-Life record HERE It is really astounding. He has done MUCH for homosexual acceptance marital normalization, but NOTHING to protect babies in vitro from murder. What a SHAME from the most powerful nation and leader on Earth!

Conclusion

In short, if Black Lives Mattered as we all contend that they do, the lives of the unborn would matter as well. They are not only Black lives that should matter, but lives of the innocent whether Black White Hispanic or otherwise.

I certainly support many aspects of the Black Lives Matter movement, and was all in on Solidarity Sunday and much more beyond, before and above it and whatever it meant. I feel that the slogans in favor of Black lives should really mean what it professes to mean. Not simply because of the police or failed community policing policies, but because countless lives, dreams, opportunities and hopes are being lost everyday to abortion and the abortion industry.

Planned Parenthood continues to say that their primary mission is the prevention of unwanted pregnancies. They claim that if they don't exist, then the community and especially Black America would be in trouble because they would not have the necessary "medical help". While all of that is very arguable and at some point even comical, all I know is that while spending some of that $1 Billion in assets annually  they still have not changed their association with eugenics and they remain  part of the social movement that targets Black and poor minorities for its abortion services in nearly every major urban population in America. HERE'S the map to show how Planned Parenthood abortions centers are in nearly every major urban population in America.

You Too Can Be A SLUT...

Illinois SLUTS for Obama bring "SLUT Buttons" to DNC
Politics has hit an all time new LOW

In and advertising campaign that would potentially embarrass even Velvet Jones, a feminist delegation from Illinois  of the Democratic National Convention has taken the 2012 election campaign to an all new low level of mass and utter confusion. Now for the first time in American history, the feminist movement, in trying to pander for votes, has sold and distributed over 1,000 "SLUT Buttons" with demand and orders for more.

"They're going like hot cakes" ~ Barb Brown Illinois Delegate, Chester, IL.

Sandra Fluke
In a move to capitalize on the statements by Rush Limbaugh regarding Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke earlier this year, the "SLUT Buttons" cannot stay stocked as the DNC nears it's opening. Proudly displaying the message that "SLUTS VOTE" with the underlying message "for Obama" the promoters hope to drive home the message that if a women's right to choose is what makes one a slut, then SLUTS they are.

The Ultimate Red Herring

The ONLY problem with that sentiment, is that it is a totally created and made up argument. It is certainly a diversionary tactic. Rush Limbaugh, didn't blame or call Sandra Fluke a "SLUT" for her "right to choose". According to Sandra's own testimony, she wanted the ordinary citizen (you and me) to pay for her NON-MEDICALLY NECESSARY contraception,  and testified on Capitol Hill in favor of that provision within what is now called the Affordable Care Act aka: Universal Health Care Law.

See President Obama's "Private Citizen" Pt. 1 The Dunamis Word View YouTube

Comedian Rush Limbaugh
Sandra believes that instead of paying for her NON-MEDICALLY NECESSARY CONTRACEPTION, that it should be included as a part of the overall benefits of the law. Rush Limbaugh, in response to her testimony reduced her argument in practical terms, and in an over the top fashion, simply said that she (Sandra) should be ashamed because she in essence wanted the common citizen to pay for her ability to have sex. He went on to call her a SLUT based on her desire to make the tax paying citizen a supporter of her sexual activities. His argument was a TRUE argument based on the facts presented.

So the SLUT part of the conversation and Limbaugh's commentary was never about a "woman's right to choose" it was about the law being used to subvert the American taxpayer, businesses and other institutions into supporting the sexual activities and personal choices of others.

See President Obama's "Private Citizen" Pt. 2 The Dunamis Word View YouTube

So the feminists from Illinois are at a minimum trying to recast the conversation, by claiming that their opposition thinks that women are SLUTS who believe in "the right to choose".

Not only is the argument a lie, based on a total fabrication of made up and unsupportable facts, it flies in the face of every rational and sane human being and Democratic woman. Can you believe that being a SLUT is now en-vogue for Democrat women?

Poor North Carolina...

Not long ago, the citizens of North Carolina stood boldly to say to the President and homo-agenda promoting organizations such as the HRC and others, that they did not want the sexual perversion of homosexual marriage to change their laws. The citizens of North Carolina stood strong and, thank God, they won.

Now, the state must endure the barrage of people calling themselves SLUTS and saying that they are proud of the designation. What's more, they are calling themselves "SLUTS for Obama", a Black President, when there is already a negative perception of Black men that is a hold over from the Civil Rights era.

I wonder will our beloved President call Kim Hess of Granite City, IL (the creator of the buttons) and tell her that sentiments such as these "have no place in public discourse"?
Or will he simply be happy and say, "I'm President Obama and I approved this message, now leave my SLUTS alone!"

It remains to be seen!!!

DNC Interfaith or NO FAITH?

The Democratic National Convention Interfaith Alliance hosted an event Sunday August 24th at the Colorado Convention Center, that met much criticism and gendered much local unrest. The Denver Rocky Mountain News reported that anti-abortion protesters disturbed the event both inside and out during a speech given by my Presiding Bishop, Bishop Charles E. Blake, who was invited as a guest speaker at the event.

Just earlier this week I received a comment from an anonymous poster asking me if I thought that this was a conflict of interest. I asked the poster "let's wait and see". What we can see is that there are more than a few issues that have arisen as a result of Bishop's appearance. Here is part of the report of the Rocky Mountain News:

"Bishop Charles E. Blake, presiding bishop of the Church of God in Christ, called on presumptive Democratic nominee Barack Obama to "follow through on his promise ... to reduce the number of abortions" while stopping just short of criticizing the Democratic Party for its support of the practice.
"Surely we cannot be pleased with ... millions of terminated pregnancies," Blake said to applause from the nearly full Wells Fargo Theater. "Something within us must be calling for a better way. If we do not resist at this point, at what point will we resist?"

Democrats must know about the "moral and spirtual pain so many of us feel because of this disregard for the lives of the unborn," Blake said.

There has already been a host of commentary regarding religious leaders participation in this event. It is also presumed that Bishop Blake has joined other Pastors such as Bishop T.D. Jakes and Pastor Rick Warren in the ranks of endorsement of Obama/Biden ticket. Here is commentary from Gloria Poole RN who was one of the respondents to the Denver article:

"Bishop Blake, perhaps if the so-called ministers of this nation did not speak out of both sides of their mouth at once there would be no legal abortion in this nation? HOW DARE YOU? How dare you try to defend a man as President who never once voted prolife on anything? Who voted for legalized infanticide? Who voted to not notify parents of their minor daughter's attempt to get an abortion? Who never once voted prolife while in Congress or his state; and who wrote inflammatory articles at the Harvard Review claiming his support of the killing of innocents? What was written about you today in this article,if true, is what is wrong with America i.e. 'politically correct' wishy-washy, namby-pamby 'ministers' and 'priests' who don't know what they believe or why. GET ON GOD's side or get out of the pulpits!" ~ Gloria Poole RN, Artist

As you can see this is a very heated discussion especially in light of what Senator Obama said at Saddleback Church just a few days ago:(8/17/2008)
WARREN: ..."Now, let's deal with abortion; 40 million abortions since Roe v. Wade. As a pastor, I have to deal with this all of the time, all of the pain and all of the conflicts. I know this is a very complex issue. Forty million abortions, at what point does a baby get human rights, in your view?"
OBAMA: "Well, you know, I think that whether you're looking at it from a theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity, you know, is above my pay grade."
WARREN: Have you --
OBAMA: "But let me just speak more generally about the issue of abortion, because this is something obviously the country wrestles with. One thing that I'm absolutely convinced of is that there is a moral and ethical element to this issue. And so I think anybody who tries to deny the moral difficulties and gravity of the abortion issue, I think, is not paying attention. So that would be point number one. But point number two, I am pro-choice. I believe in Roe v. Wade, and I come to that conclusion not because I'm pro-abortion, but because, ultimately, I don't think women make these decisions casually. I think they -- they wrestle with these things in profound ways, in consultation with their pastors or their spouses or their doctors or their family members. And so, for me, the goal right now should be -- and this is where I think we can find common ground. And by the way, I've now inserted this into the Democratic party platform, is how do we reduce the number of abortions? The fact is that although we have had a president who is opposed to abortion over the last eight years, abortions have not gone down and that is something we have to address."
WARREN: "Have you ever voted to limit or reduce abortions?"
OBAMA: "I am in favor, for example, of limits on late-term abortions, if there is an exception for the mother's health. From the perspective of those who are pro-life, I think they would consider that inadequate, and I respect their views. One of the things that I've always said is that on this particular issue, if you believe that life begins at conception, then -- and you are consistent in that belief, then I can't argue with you on that, because that is a core issue of faith for you. What I can do is say, are there ways that we can work together to reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies, so that we actually are reducing the sense that women are seeking out abortions. And as an example of that, one of the things that I've talked about is how do we provide the resources that allow women to make the choice to keep a child. You know, have we given them the health care that they need? Have we given them the support services that they need? Have we given them the options of adoption that are necessary? That can make a genuine difference" Transcript Courtesy CNN Forums.
The figures on abortion have been placed at 100% Change Man for your review. I would ask the question to Senator Obama,
When you found out that your wife was pregnant with either of your two daughters, WHEN were human rights conferred upon them? Did you or did you not feel that they were entitled to human rights in the womb? Finally, and I strongly assume that you believe that they were entitled to HUMANS rights in the womb; why should anyone else's children be considered less valuable, less important, or less entitled than yours?
Will This make me vote for McCain...I'm afraid not. Should you assume that I will vote for Obama...DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH! Does this blog endorse either candidate....NO!
Opportunities are Golden. Did Bishop Blake say enough or go far enough? Do you feel his presence sent a confused or wrong message? I would like to hear from you on regarding this. May the Lord bless and keep you is my humble prayer. In Jesus Name!
Blessed!
