A 3 Minute Revolution: Ministry vs Family or Both?

1 Pet. 3:7 ~ Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

Col. 3:21 ~ Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

Reflections: Riva Tims "When It All Falls Apart" & "When It All Comes Together"

This is an encouraging woman and her courage will never be forgotten. The Dunamis Word continues to pray for her, her children and their continued healing and wellbeing. In this life, we can only guess what we will ever experience. How we respond makes all the difference.

Pastors PLEASE know that ministry IS family, not that there is ministry and then family...you are out of order. Ministry IS being a a game that the kids participate in, or simply sitting in front of a TV on a Friday night, talking with and enjoying one another's company...THAT is ministry!

The Floodgates Are Open: No Age Too Young For A Pedophile

While the battle was raging for and against homosexual marriage, those of us who could see the moral climate of America eroding right before our eyes, often warned that if America accepted that the right of marriage could be altered, and allowed same gender individuals to marry with rights afforded to heterosexual couples, that there would be nothing to stop anyone, with any sort of proclivity, "identity" or feelings from marrying, or at least petitioning to marry, just about anything, anyone or anybody.
"Sixteen is a totally arbitrary age of consent. It originates from 1885, when consent was raised from 13. There is, however, no medical or psychological evidence that 16 (as opposed to 14 or any other age) is the age of sexual or emotional maturity." ~ Tatchell, Peter, "Why the age of consent should be lowered to 14" 2002.
Well, almost on cue, here come the pedophiles reaffirming what they have been saying for years. Nearly as expected, the leaders of the pedophile movement, or the movement to lower the age of sexual consent for minors, are also advocates of the homosexual community, such as the author of the article referenced above.

That article was written by Peter Tachell. Although we are using Mr. Tachell's article for this expose, he is certainly not the progenitor of these ideas, ideals and values. Remember the complete controversy of Kevin Jennings, President Obama's former "Safe Schools Czar" who was "inspired" by Harry Hay? Here is some additional information on Harry Hay's vision for youth:
"Mr. Jennings stated, “One of the people that’s always inspired me is Harry Hay.” The late Hay was a “gay-rights” activist most notorious for supporting the North American Man Boy Love Association. In 1983, speaking in support of NAMBLA, Hay claimed: “[I]f the parents and friends of gays are truly friends of gays, they would know from their gay kids that the relationship with an older man is precisely what 13-, 14-, and 15-year-old kids need more than anything else in the world.” ~ The Washington Times Editorial 2009
Harry was not just speaking of a young man hiking, camping and or being mentored by an adult male. He was certainly referencing an adult male helping a younger male discover his sexuality, through and by perverted homosexual acts. Although I don't lay the blame of the age of consent movement at Tachell's feet, he may also think of Harry Hay as a champion as well. I have no clue. Neither do I accuse him, Tachell, of immoral behavior, however desiring to have sex with children IS an immoral desire which could lead to an immoral act. What we know is that for quite some time, there has been a movement afoot to encourage laws allowing sex and sexual activity between children and adults to become normalized and less penalized under the law.

Additional Insight

The article seemed to have been originally published by a UK group calling itself, "The Libertarian Alliance" (LA) in 2002. The LA claims to be an educational charity that promotes rights to "life, liberty, and property". One of the leaders of LA, is named John Kersey. In 2013 Mr. Kersey wrote a blog article for LA called "Reflections of the Age of Consent" in which he examines concepts of "the age of consent" over the years in Europe suggesting at one point that it is a developed idea for children to be able to engage in sex and sexual activity as young as age 12.

LA writer Max O'Connor, who compares adults giving sexual pleasure to a child as similar to giving a child "sweets and toys", wrote in his article "Sex Coercion and The Age Of Consent" in 1981:
"If children are coerced into submitting to sex by the use of force, or by threats, then this is certainly a violation of their rights and the attacker should be sharply dealt with. It is difficult to comprehend how merely becoming friendly with a child, and then encouraging him or her to indulge in sexual activities, can be a violation of rights."
So these perverted concepts have been around for quite some time and there is a rationale behind the ideas that has the ability to seduce weak politicians and the liberal elite.

The ideas and concepts are so in line with the pedophile movement, and further the marriage perversion movement that we should take a look at what's brewing and the excuses that are being generated for grown people, both men and women, to have sex with children.

History & The Islamic Connection To Pedophilia

Although the Catholic Church and many Christian churches have suffered due to sexual abuse of minors and pedophilia, the fact is that pedophilia has been and continues to be disdained, both from a scriptural standpoint, and from a biblically moral standpoint. Islam is not so. It is a historical FACT that prophet Muhammad had youth brides. According to Islamic teaching on the subject, one, Muhammad's best friend's daughter, became his bride, by Muhammad's demand, at the age of 6 years old. Due to a sickness, Muhammad did not consummate the marriage until the child was 9 years old. After the death of his first wife, Muhammad had 11 wives of various ages and it was accounted that Muhammad had sex with as many of his wives as he could every day regardless of whether they were on their cycle of not. In other words, there was a disregard for the needs of a woman, only regard given to what a man desired.

One would think things like this are corrected in modern Islam. However they are not. Leading, vocal clerics, speaking on behalf of Islam, not only affirm the historical details, but set forth new rules and guidelines, none of which overturn old regulations.

For example, a leading cleric, following the teachings of the Quran on the subject:
"A man can have sexual pleasure from a child as young as a baby. However, he should not penetrate; sodomizing the child is OK. If a man penetrates and damages the child, then he should be responsible for her subsistence all her life. This girl, however, does not count as one of his four permanent wives. The man will not be eligible to marry the girl’s sister. . . It is better for a girl to marry in such a time when she would begin menstruation at her husband,s house rather than her father’s house. Any father marrying his daughter so young will have a permanent place in heaven." ~ Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, Tahrirolvasyleh, volume 4 (Gom, Iran: Darol Elm, 1990), p. 186.
This man's words are yet respected and highly regarded in the Islamic world today and are not easily removed, erased, or modified by modern Imam and Clerics on the issue. There is a long history of people who want to have sex with children and to perverts such as that, the younger, the better!

Summary Of Pedophile Reasons:
Aside from some perverted religious excuses listed above, here is an additional small summary list of reason why the pedophile thinks that it is a good idea to be able to have sex with kids (with a little "spin"):
1 - As stated above, "current ages of consent {age 16 and over} are simply arbitrary. Why in post enlightenment times it was age 13." We are "progressives" so let's at least go to age 14.
2 - Too many kids are sexually illiterate when they become adults and start having sex. Kids learn everything else from adults, so learning sex should be from an adult..."It's an adult's duty to teach that young  b_ _ _ y!"
3 - Too many otherwise good adults are going to jail for having sex with kids. This is an epidemic. Lowering the age will keep these "God fearing" and otherwise "morally upright" citizens out of jail.
4 - 20% of kids are abused anyway even though the age of consent is 16 now. If the age were lowered we could seduce and abuse them first so they won't feel so bad or be so shocked when they are abused later by real criminals!
5-  Kids will be healthier. In the countries that have a lower age of consent, kids have lower birthrates, lower incidences of HIV, pregnancies and abortions even when having sex with kids their own age, but kids having sex with an adult is always better!
Conclusion: The Door Is Opened

I have sought to make this somewhat humorous, (believe me, I KNOW sexual abuse, and especially child sexual abuse is NOT a funny thing) but I believe that the ideas and concepts are exactly on point because this is what is presented and read over and over in publications by such pedophiles. Whether having acted out upon their lusts or simply fantasizing, this is what they are saying about sex with children.

Because marriage has been expanded, the door is opened for the community of pedophile perverts to now make their case claiming to be a sexual minority with rights because they are a "diverse minority" group. The morality of harm arguments are in full effect and in place to begin to ask questions of "who is really being hurt by having sex with a child?"  In nearly every case, according to these perverts and others like them, it is always beneficial for the children when an adult has sex with them or attempts to introduce sexual concepts.

The CHURCH, Glass House No Rocks!

The church unfortunately is not untouched by this. We have PEDOPHILE PASTORS and leaders who fantasize every Sunday about young girls legs, breasts and hips. Some see the congregation of young men and women as flowers that they can pick when they want to even placing some of our daughters and sons in compromising situations.

What's more is that we have lazy and self centered parents and guardians and church members, unwilling to protect these daughters and sons as well. Some willingly give their children to pastors and other leaders who they "suspect" are doing inappropriate things, but who they never call into question...

A CURSE be upon you for your continued refusal to do right and safeguard our children and call the pulpit pedophile to justice!

Just in case you don't know, judgement is in the land. God said he was not going to destroy the world with water this time, but he is letting America know that he can do it if he so chooses. He can turn the water on and does not have to turn it off, because he does not have a water bill!

Next time will be FIRE! All of this garbage will burn up and melt away, right along with the immoral and the ungodly. Those are they who have rejected Jesus in spite of HIS warning. What can they expect to receive but what he has promised? Destruction.

For all those men and women challenged with the sin of pedophilia, REPENT! Don't fantasize. That demon will never let you go once he has a hold of you. Allow the Lord to make you whole!!! Time to destroy those chains and bonds in JESUS name!

Blessed!

Right Relationships & The Restoration Of Marriage Pt. 4

As Continued From My Facebook Series On 5 Things You Must Do For A Fulfilling Relationship In Marriage, Church, And With The People In It.

#5 ~ SPEND TIME WITH FAMILY, ESPECIALLY ONES OWN SPOUSE AND CHILDREN WITHOUT RESERVATION, INSTEAD OF BEING A PART OF THE LATE NIGHT, RESTAURANT AFTER SERVICE CROWD.

#6 ~ SECONDLY, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT LUNCHES, DINNERS, TRAVEL OR SUCH THE LIKE WITH MEMBERS OF THE OPPOSITE SEX (MARRIED OR NOT) WITH OR WITHOUT SPOUSAL CONSENT.

This is probably the genesis of most problems within the modern church. Many times individuals, believe that spending time with the "sheep" outside of the service is a good thing. Many times however, the prevailing logic is that it doesn't matter if their spouse is involved or not, because, after all, the "intentions" are good. There is a saying that "the pathway to hell is paved with good intentions!"

ACCESS + TIME = RELATIONSHIP

It is not a good thing when members of the opposite sex have unfettered access to married people. It is even more significant, when in the context of the church, that access infringes on personal and family time. eg: Receiving a call from a member during vacation or a family moment is always bound to kill the moment, especially when one feels "obligated" to answer or address issues. Some say that access is a good thing and part of the ministry and that they are obligated to the people of the church above and beyond normal limitations. I have personally fallen victim to this, and have lived to say that nothing is further from the truth!

Right Relationships & The Restoration Of Marriage Pt. 3

#3~ DON'T ALLOW YOUR FAMILY TO SUFFER MATERIALLY BASED ON "PEOPLE PROMISES"
AND
#4 ~ PURSUE OPPORTUNITIES THAT WILL ALLOW AND FACILITATE GROWTH BOTH ECONOMICALLY, SPIRITUALLY, EDUCATIONALLY, AND SOCIALLY.

I have enclosed 2 thoughts in this particular admonishment, and since both are centered around the same concepts I thought that we should look at both ideas on one page. The issues center around personal/family growth and development and accountability. The key here is that there is no reward or benefit in allowing yourself and your loved ones to suffer unnecessarily at the hands of the "whims" of people. Remember, there is a difference between God promises and people promises.

In this life we will have tribulation. That is certainly a fact and each individual shall all run into their fair share...however, there is a difference between suffering due to a move of God and suffering due to the need or requirement to be associated with and tied to people. I hope I can outline the difference in the following narrative.

ACCOUNTABILITY

The Restoration Of Marriage & Right Relationships Pt. 1 ~ Family First

Gen. 1:28~ And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

In my new book "Ministering Effectively" (soon at a book store or available online near you) I was led of the Lord to dedicate an entire chapter to the believer's relationship to family and family values. I believe that faithful observance of duties pertaining to the family is the foundation of a powerful and successful life and effective service to the Lord. Many individuals speak about family, but many less make family and duties to family a priority, know how to serve family, or define the needs of family.

Within the context of church and church service and just plain old living, there is always a reason to leave family or to relegate family to a second class status in the pecking order of daily activities. Secular work takes individuals away from their families in the name of producing an income to survive. Certainly we are commanded by God to work to sustain our household, and this is a valid and unavoidable result in many cases, however even in that, I believe that we must approach service to our families and community in a balanced manner. Not only naturally or monetarily, but also physically and emotionally. In other words, life can't be all work and or ministry and no or very little family physical and emotional connection. The proportion of the ingredients placed within the family setting and environment determine the outcome regardless of the material or monetary ability.

To expand upon this, on Facebook I placed my 5 top suggestions and encouragements on what it takes to make and keep a strong family for those engaged in public ministry. Although I am certainly no expert by any definition of the word on family relationships, there are some things that I have learned over the last 31 years of marriage and experienced as I have sought to strengthen families entrusted to my pastoral guidance that I believe may benefit those in similar situations.

I hope that this mini-series helps in whatever family setting and situation that you are in and hopefully the contents of these posts can be the basis or foundation for ongoing conversation and discovery of the boundaries of your marriage. Finally, I hope that you will be built up in your faith as you discover the strength found within the bond and unity of a strong, godly and Christ centered marriage and family unit

Here we go:

1- REMEMBER THAT FAMILY IS MINISTRY. ALWAYS KEEP FAMILY FIRST.
Needless to say, marriage and the family is under attack. With the expansion of the definition of marriage to include homosexual relationships, it is certain that the institution of marriage itself will continue to face redefinition from the secular or worldly point of view. Although marriage is not the only institution by which family is defined in modern times, marriage is yet at the pinnacle of the definition of family, and issues and values that flow from the family effect all of society.

As Christians we should be aware that marriage and family are the first institutions of God. As such, it is revealing that no matter if one is a pastor, or a doorkeeper within the context of the church, family IS ministry. That's right, nobody in the church, and no situation that you encounter rises above the needs of family because family IS ministry. It is not, serve family then do ministry; it IS serve family and all other things is an extension of that. hypothetically speaking, neither "Sister LuLu" nor "Brother Joe" comes before Wife or Husband, and neither "Sister LuLu's" or "Brother Joe's" children, no matter how fatherless they may be (if that is the case), come before your own children.

Isn't It Ungodly To Place My Family FIRST?

Too often, people in the church attempt to make care for their children a litmus test for the level of love of the leader or other individuals in the church. This is manipulation and I will explain why. First, individuals within the context of the church have no right to ask either your spouse or your children to suffer in effort for you to prove your "love" for them or other members. This sort of demand is indecent, out of order and is contrary to the biblical command for one to "provide" (Gk: pronoeo ~ to apply forethought in looking out for a person's best interest) for their household.(1 Tim. 5:8)  No matter how large or small the church, the lion-share of your time, effort and attention should be on, for, and given to your family.

One popular minister boasted that his itinerary took him from multiple churches throughout the week and multiple states throughout the course of a month. At the height of his ministry, he was so enamored with "proving his love" for the people that he would minister in 3 states every Sunday and multiple services transported by a private jet. This particular minister went on to lose his family and his ministry due to infidelity and unfaithfulness within his marriage to the point of fathering a child by a youth associated with the church.

Was My Marital Failure God's Fault?

What can we say? Some blame God for making the call and solidifying it with apparent success of material wealth. In his book "The Remnant, Restoring The Call To Personal Integrity" [Charisma House 2008] author, Larry Stockstill, poses that nearly 20% of the nations over 388,000 churches have leaders who are living a "double life" (Preface pg. 13). That comes out to over 75,000 spiritual leaders who are in trouble as we speak. I would venture to say that most of them consider that God is somehow at fault because their circumstances are at times overwhelming and they can't disappoint those under their leadership or ministry by failing to be there for them. At some point many of these same individuals believe that it is allowable for them to stop and "pick the roses" and serve themselves even in light of the fact that God has commanded them to and protect tend to the garden.

God is not to blame when there is a character flaw of deficiency. Many times issues arise when we fail or refuse to honor, cherish, and value what God honors. The fact is that if a person truly wants a successful marriage and healthy and blessed family, some trips cannot be taken. Some visits to certain member's, friends or associates homes cannot be made and some events MUST be missed if family is to be served and honored as God has required.

I don't know how many married people I have counseled over the years that feel that their spouse is the reason for the "hindrance" of their ministry, work, or service. I have spoken to some pastors who felt like their wife was the cause or reason that their ministry could not expand of grow. Some feel that if their children were only "better" or "better acting" that their personal plight would be much better and that they would have more success in ministry. These are highly selfish and in many cases blatantly inaccurate attitudes and sympathies. In fact, if a spouse is deficient, it is up to the other spouse to help relieve the deficiency. Kids are to be trained and reared by their parents, so if they are ungodly, let's examine how much time that the parents have placed in to their success.

A Right Perspective:

God records the following about the help given that was meet for Adam:

Gen. 2:18 ~ And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
After creating his wife Adam was not only happy about her and her design, but he was ready to leave all and establish a life with her:
Gen 2: 23-25 ~ 23-And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24- Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. 25-And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
Further, God said this about our children:
Ps. 127:3 ~ Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward.
The help that was "meet" for Adam according to God was not a church, a group of people, a stage or even a paycheck. The help that was "meet" or "fit" for Adam was his wife. Similarly, Psalms 127, though only 5 verses, is full of praise towards the family, children in particularly, and the blessings they bring to one's future, one's home and one's community.

Conclusion:

Looking back to the beginning and to God's intent provides us a glimpse into God's heart and character. Examining what he intended for the family is a priority if we want to get the greatest and best success from our marriages and families in the fear and admonition of the Lord.

In the book of Joshua, God charged the people:
Joshua 1:8 ~ This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
"Good success" is not the acquisition of land, houses, property or simply material possessions. Good success is being able to maintain integrity, character and godly priorities along the way. The "good success" of God was to be able to freely worship and serve God by honoring and obeying his commands so that our joy would be full.

Make first things first in life and ministry and God will honor that. Anything to the contrary is not honorable and will not be honored nor favored by God!

Blessed!

Marriage & Forgiveness: What That Means For The "Other Woman" (or Man)

1 Cor. 6:18 ~ "Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body."(NIV 2011)
I have previously written a post on the biblical position and basis for divorce and remarriage. In that post I specifically dealt with the biblical instructions regarding the institution of marriage and the permissibility of both divorce and remarriage under certain circumstances. While divorce is only a last option when all other forms of reconciliation have failed it is a reality for many and a path that some have had to cross.

I will primarily address how Christians should best respond to the "third party" or the character involved in marital infidelity. This person is usually called "the other woman", and in a growing number of cases it is called "the other man" who now becomes and is the "third party". In some cases it is a whole or complete institution, such as a strip club or some other form of entertainment. I will not deal with the latter in this article.

Is Marriage A Relic Of The Past?

Hebrews 13:4 ~ "Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge."

Nearly 40% of individuals say that marriage is an obsolete part of American life.  A recent PEW Research Center analysis of the US Census reports recently surfaced that claimed that the marriage rate is down within the United States to historic lows. Example:
  • In 1960, among young adults ages 18-29, nearly 60% of them were married.
  • In 2010, among young  ~ 18-29 only 20% are married.
  • In 1960 71% of all adults age 18 were married
  • In 2010 51% of all adults age 18 are married
  • The new marriage rate from 2009 to 2010 fell by 5% overall
  • Women on average are waiting to get married until age 26.5, while men are waiting until almost 29 years old to get married.
  • 61% of Black adults were married in 1960, 31% of Black adults are married in 2010
  • 74% of White adults were married in 1960, 55% of White adults are married in 2010
As the very first statement suggests, according to Pew, marriage is becoming a more and more unnecessary part of American life and family. For many, marital commitments don't offer either solid or noticeable benefits to entice them that are single to jump the broom. For many the idea of marriage has simply been relegated to the status of an "arrangement of convenience" with "mutual financial benefits", rather than a lasting and enduring commitment between two individuals.

Bishop Noel Jones / LisaRaye McCoy...Marriage, Engagement Or Dating?

LisaRaye "Platnium Digger" McCoy
Noel "A Pimps Best Friend" Jones
Hits and searches on Bishop Noel Jones have been off the hook on this site. Rather than spend a lot of time trying to find out (because these people are deceptive & secretive) I'll turn the fact finding over to you. Since YOU want to know, maybe this will help  'cause I can't call it.
Here is Lisa's Response to it all:

This should settle the issue. Let me tell you this though, if Bishop Noel Jones is "like a father to the faith" which was said on another program when Raye was interviewed...why didn't  they ASK HIM instead of asking the woman? Especially since Noel Jones regularly appears on radio...In all of this, I haven't heard the Bishop say a word, but I suppose one is not necessary anyway.

Blessed!

Christian Marriage...I Had To Address Some Issues

Also See: "Marriage & Forgiveness. What That Means For The "Other Woman" (or Man)"
Arguably, the foundation of any society and community is the family. Though modern families come in all kinds of sizes, shapes and component parts, traditionally, the most fundamental element of the family is the marriage between a husband and a wife. In fact, in Western society, the whole social system is built on this type of union.

This is often called the nuclear family, which includes about 2 to 3 children and a pet thrown in to spare. Until recent times this type of union (between a man and a woman) was a standard part of the American culture and a solid part of the American church. However there are all sorts of arrangements marital, non-marital, cross-generational and even cross gender core units that now comprise the basis of "family".
There are many factors that have led to the changing face of the family. To name a few, it can't go without noting that there is a  rapidly growing diversity of social moral values within the American population,  changing demographics, partially promoted by culturally accepted relativism, and an increased post modernistic approach to previously formed social structures.  In addition there are financial pressures, high incarceration rates  in some demographic groups, and increased substance abuse issues which in many cases are a reflection of the lack of self-worth and value. All of this has led to the traditionally oriented nuclear family becoming simply one type among many types of family structures within society.
Marriages. How Stable Is The Foundation?

To our shame, these are the facts of our marital condition:
  • According to Religious Tolerance.Org current research shows that the overall divorce rate peaked around 1980 and appears to have declined modestly since then. Divorce rates per 1,000 marriages were 22.6 in 1980, 20.9 in 1990, and 18.8 in 2000. (1)
  • A recent study by the Barna Research Group throws extreme doubt on these estimates. Barna released the results of their poll about divorce on 1999-DEC-21. 1 They had interviewed 3,854 adults from the 48 contiguous states. The margin of error is ±2 percentage points. The survey found: 11% of the adult population is currently divorced.  25% of adults have had at least one divorce during their lifetime.  Divorce rates among conservative Christians were significantly higher than for other faith groups, and much higher than Atheists and Agnostics (nonbelievers) experience (2)
  • Estimates of the incidence of marital infidelity in the United States range from 20% to 50%. (3)
  • One estimate rated the percentage of all Americans who would have an extramarital affair during their lives as high as 70%! (4)
  • Nearly half of all U.S. marriages are remarriages for at least one of the spouses (5)
  • In a 2001 report, the CDC stated that 1/5 (20%) of first marriages end within five years; 1/3 (33%)within ten years. Second marriages fare even worse. The CDC found "a strong probability that second marriages will end in separation or divorce: 23% after five years and 39% after ten years.”
  • Researcher Donald Hughes states that 90% of divorce among Christians occur AFTER they have been saved. (6)

Ladies, Would You Stay?

I tried but I just couldn't resist the infamous true life story of the man who denied his blackness. Tiger Woods, the famed world-class golfer managed to accumulate another "back nine" over the years...According to ABC's The View, 9 women have now come forth to claim that Tiger was their lover...He was clubbed by his wife Elin for one or two of them, now his wallet is open and he's bleeding ink. In fact it can't flow quickly enough.

The latest is that Tiger is currently re-modifying his prenup in order to save his marriage. Originally the prenup would have given Elin the right to $20 Million if there was a breakup after 10 years of marriage. however, all that's changed. Here's what a site (The Daily Beast by Gerald Posner) with intimate details of the current negotiations says:
"The lawyer familiar with the couple’s negotiations told The Daily Beast that Tiger also has agreed to shorten the original prenup to seven years from the date of marriage, meaning it will vest in another two. And the revised agreement provides for a staggered schedule of payments spread out over five years that could be worth upward of $75 million. So for Elin to collect $80 million, she’ll need to stay with Tiger another seven years, be a dutiful wife in showing up with him at social events and in public as if they were still the perfect couple, and sign a nondisclosure form that will prevent her from ever telling her story. Even if she lasts only two more years, she’ll still walk away with nearly twice what she was entitled to under the original prenup."
